What will be the evaluation?
The object of the evaluation is a pure electric mini car with a body length of less than 4 meters, including the popular Wuling Hongguang MINIEV and Chery QQ ice cream models on the market.
Based on the C-NCAP and CCRT assessment frameworks, the evaluation charter simplifies some of the assessment processes, mainly including collision safety, use safety and endurance charging. Micro-electric vehicles are rated in the same way as other models, and are divided into four levels according to the scoring rate.
Specifically, the collision safety evaluation includes three evaluations: frontal collision, side collision and whipping test. In the past mainstream passenger car tests, we often see crash tests, mainly to see the protective effect of airbags and seats on drivers and passengers when a collision occurs at a certain speed.
However, most of the entry level of micro-electric vehicles on the market is not equipped with airbags, so the evaluation will fail the vast majority of micro-electric vehicles.
The use safety section includes five projects of charging safety, braking performance, electromagnetic immunity, hydropower safety and human body electromagnetic protection, which mainly evaluate whether micro-electric vehicles are safe in daily use, and are also one of the most concerned issues for users in driving.
Battery life charging is often complained about by consumers, and many consumers say that the actual battery life has not reached the official data, which is often greatly discounted. This time, the performance of the model will be fully evaluated from four items of room temperature endurance, low temperature endurance, low temperature charging and charging compatibility, and at that time, problems such as virtual endurance and charging failure will be exposed to the sun.
Cool sales?
Under the comprehensive evaluation, whether it is a good student or a poor student, sales will be affected.
First of all, the models that perform well under the three evaluations are equivalent to having the endorsement of the China Automobile Center, and consumers are of course more inclined to these vehicles in the purchase, it seems that sales will rise, is this really the case?
In fact, it is not, because it is not excluded that some models that originally did not have relevant configurations upgraded their vehicle configurations in advance in order to obtain good results, resulting in rising costs and eventually ushering in a wave of price increases. Most people's consumer psychology is to covet cheap, once the price rises, for most price-sensitive consumers will "abandon" the car, sales may drop sharply.
Then there are models with poor evaluation performance, which can still attract some consumers with the fig leaf of low price, but once the safety of the model is exposed, it is not far from being abandoned by the market.
