"At that time, I also felt that bean paintings were perishable, difficult to preserve, and I did not have the confidence to do it full-time." In 2011, her child went to kindergarten, so Hong Jingying came to Ningbo again to work.
The opportunity to ignite the spark of dreams has finally emerged. In the Spring Festival of 2015, Hong Jingying accidentally turned over the bean paintings he had made before, and found that they were well preserved as before, without any trace of decay. This unexpected discovery gave Hong Jingying great confidence, like a lamp crossing the night, and could not help but make her heart gush with the courage to pursue her dreams.
It was then that she began to think about the possibility of working full-time on bean paintings. "When I started to do full-time creative planning, I realized that there was still a long way to go before I became a professional bean painting creator", Hong Jingying said with regret, "When I was a child, my family conditions were limited, and I went out to work early, I did not have contact with art and design knowledge, and I was very lacking in theory, and I could not always come up with works that made me very satisfied." ”
Focusing on the goal of pursuing dreams, out of caution, Hong Jingying decided to first leave herself a space for learning theory. "I have no problem with my hands-on ability, but I am obviously deficient in creative design, so I will give myself a few years to lay a solid foundation in theory, so that it is possible to go long." As he grew older, Hong Jingying's planning gradually became rational, "blindly rushing with only a passion for blood, not only will not necessarily achieve the original goal, it is likely to take more detours without knowing it." ”

In 2019, Hong Jingying made up her mind to engage in bean painting creation full-time. To this end, she quit her job, spent a lot of time to teach herself art theory and drawing techniques, and went to the county to learn design knowledge. "Through continuous learning, my understanding of bean painting is slowly comprehensive and clear, I feel that every bean is a living individual, I am not creating, but following the natural trajectory of each bean to continue to extend, and finally blend and harmonize with each other."
Having said that, the creation of bean painting is after all a "kung fu work" and "embroidery work" that requires a lot of time and energy investment, and one careless move will destroy the entire work, and there is no room for sloppiness. Every time she makes a bean painting, Hong Jingying must first sketch out a small sample of the drawing, and then use a bamboo skewer to paste a grain of grain with natural colors into the plate with woodwork glue, which requires great concentration like embroidery. Hong Jingying sat in front of the window and painted, often sitting for a day.
In terms of operation, Hong Jingying opened Taobao stores and micro-stores to accept orders from all over the country, which have both their own proud works and exclusive customization by customers.

Now, Hong Jingying slowly shifted the focus of bean painting creation to the landscape beauty and farming scenes of her hometown Jinyun, "Jinyun has good mountains and good water, as well as my childhood memories, it is this emotion that was born here and grew up here that supports me to go on bravely." In Hong Jingying's hands, scenes such as the Xiandu landscape, the planting of seedlings, and the Yanggu Valley are expressed in a wonderful way, perfectly displaying the Jinyun element.
Taking the creation of bean painting as a career, in addition to the love that comes from the bottom of her heart, Hong Jingying also has a heavy feeling.
