The history of the Soviet Union tells the world: never underestimate the people standing behind them, their destructive power is great

If you look closely at the history of the Soviet Union, you will find an interesting phenomenon that every leader of the Soviet Union was not the intention of his predecessors, and most of them took a different route from their predecessors after coming to power.

But a little longer, they were close comrades-in-arms when their predecessors were still alive, so they gave people a feeling of "the most dangerous people around them".

Lenin did not want Stalin to succeed him

Lenin and Stalin were close comrades-in-arms on the revolutionary road, and Stalin's methods were indeed very powerful, making great contributions to the growth and expansion of the Soviet Union, but the person Lenin admired most in his heart was Sverdlov.

Sverdlov was a staunch supporter of Lenin, chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the All-Russian Congress of Soviets, and the first nominal head of state of Soviet Russia.

After Lenin's assassination in 1918, Sverdlov presided over all the affairs of the Council of People's Commissars, when Sverdlov was only 33 years old and so old that everyone thought he would be the next leader.

Unexpectedly, however, he died of influenza the following year, earlier than Lenin's death. Lenin's body was already in trouble, and he did not have the energy to train the next generation of successors.

In 1922, after Lenin's first stroke, he completed a will and handed it to his wife, which evaluated the six leaders of the CPSU, namely Trotsky, Stalin, Zinoviev, Kamenev, Bukharin and Pydakov, of which Stalin was:

Comrade Stalin has become General Secretary and has unlimited power, and I am not sure whether he will always use this power with great caution.

In January 1923, Lenin again supplemented the will, this time only to Stalin:

Stalin was too crude, and this shortcoming is tolerable among us, in the dealings of our Communists, but it is intolerable in the office of General Secretary. I therefore propose that the comrades find a way to remove Stalin from this position and appoint another person as General Secretary.

At this time, he was already bedridden, unable to change the situation, and stalin eventually succeeded him.

Stalin's line after succession is no different from Lenin's, except that the means are tougher and more concentrated.

Khrushchev was hidden behind his back

Khrushchev did not like Stalin at first, and he supported Trotsky at the beginning of his political career in 1923, but later Trotsky himself could not stand up, and Khrushchev began to work hard for Stalin.

In Moscow and in Ukraine, he resolutely carried out Stalin's tactics and showed great loyalty, which is why he was highly valued by Stalin. However, this reuse was also limited, and in the Soviet Union, Khrushchev was never the second person under Stalin.

Stalin also did not appoint a successor before his death, but the most people who continued to lead were Malenkov and Beria, and sadly, the high-ranking people had already divided up power the night before Stalin's death.

Malenkov served as chairman of the Council of Ministers, Beria served as Vice-President and Minister of the Interior, one by government and one by the police.

Khrushchev is only the secretary of the Secretariat, far inferior to the previous two, but this also has the advantage of not attracting the attention of others. Therefore, Khrushchev hid in the shadows, first contacting Bulganin, Malenkov, Molotov, Mikoyan and other powerful figures to arrest Beria together.

Beria played with means all his life, only to be killed by another man who could play tricks.

Malenkov was logically logical to become the leader of the Soviet Union after taking out Beria, but he was less experienced than Beria and was not at all Khrushchev's opponent.

Every policy he proposed was opposed by Khrushchev on the grounds that he could not solve the problem of the state, and his desire for reform was resisted, and it was only then that he reflected on how terrible it was that Khrushchev, who had come to the door with a smile and asked to fight Beria together, was too late.

Soon Malenkov felt targeted and could only ask for a demotion to become vice-chairman of the Soviets, and he wanted to fight again, and contacted a group of elders to seize power.

However, Khrushchev co-opted the famous Soviet Marshal Zhukov and successfully retook the situation, and Malenkov could only retreat, he was not in danger of life, and was sent to Kazakhstan as a power plant director.

Neither the first nor second in command was Khrushchev's opponent, and from then on he began to monopolize power, but what he did first was to oppose Stalin in an all-round way.

Although Khrushchev's reforms were of positive significance, the Soviet Union spent the most difficult days under stalin's leadership, whether it was the transition to industrial society or the resistance to fascism, Stalin still had merit and completely negated Stalin. This will cause confusion in the beliefs and ideas of the Soviets, and the consequences will be very serious.

Brezhnev, who was promoted by Khrushchev

Khrushchev ruled the Soviet Union for more than ten years, he came to power by means, and eventually he was also ousted by means, and Brezhnev was the most active one in the opposition.

Brezhnev mixed well during the Stalin period, becoming an alternate member of the Presidium of the CPSU Central Committee and secretary of the CPSU Central Committee, but this kind of life lasted only half a year.

The day after Stalin's death, the Soviet high command announced the reduction of the size of the Presidium of the Central Committee, the number of alternate members of the Presidium was reduced from 11 to 4, the number of secretaries of the Central Committee was reduced from 10 to 3, brezhnev unfortunately lost both positions, and was sent by Malenkov to the Political Department of the Navy as deputy director, which shows that Brezhnev did not even enter the core leadership at that time.

It was not until Khrushchev came to power that Brezhnev was transferred to the Republic of Kazakhstan as Second Secretary, and after arriving in Kazakhstan, Brezhnev actively responded to Khrushchev's policies and was therefore appreciated to re-enter the CENTRAL Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

The situation after that was proposed by Khrushchev, brezhnev would definitely support it, the former also regarded the latter as a confidant, but the former did not expect that when he went on vacation to the Black Sea, the latter contacted many high-level coups.

Compared with other Soviet high-level leaders, Brezhnev did not have a very prominent aspect, and he became the leader precisely because everyone felt that he was mediocre and compromised with each other, and no one expected Brezhnev to work for eighteen years.

During his reign, oil prices rose all the way, so the Soviet economy looked to develop rapidly, but Brezhnev completely vetoed Khrushchev, especially on the point of cadres.

Khrushchev promoted the "rejuvenation of cadres" and abolished the cadre lifelong system, and it was also because this matter touched the interests of many people that he was ousted from power. Brezhnev did not want to repeat the mistakes of the past and completely repudiated Khrushchev, which led to the prevalence of corruption.

Brezhnev did not dare to openly restore the Stalin model, thus making the Soviet Union's thinking once again turbulent and more chaotic.

Negate all of Gorbachev

Between Brezhnev and Gorbachev, there were two shorter leaders – Andropov and Chernenko.

After Andropov came to power, he quickly reformed, corrected many mistakes of the Brezhnev period, vigorously suppressed corruption, and made the Soviet atmosphere a good one, and many people considered him the "lord of ZTE". Unfortunately, he was not in good health and died of illness after only two years in power.

Chernenko's situation was similar, he died of illness after only working for more than a year, and then it was the Gorbachev era. Gorbachev was also favored by Andropov and entered the core.

The previous Soviet leaders generally denied their predecessors, but Gorbachev denied all the leaders, and he began to carry out comprehensive reforms, promoting "democratization", "openness", "pluralism", almost denying all the excellent things of the Soviet Union, which made the Soviets fundamentally hit.

Gorbachev's think tank, Yakovlev, was actually an American-backed figure, but this man could be called the Soviet propaganda minister, completely denying the leadership of the CPSU. The subordinates promoted by Goech, such as Shevardnadze and Yeltsin, were people who hated the Soviet Union.

In the end, it was Yeltsin, a subordinate who had been vigorously cultivated by Gorbachev, who stood on the opposite side and thus became a gravedigger in the Soviet Union.

Who would have thought that the Soviet Union, which could plant its flag on the Empire State Building and once made the United States tremble, collapsed in just 69 years. This outcome has to do with too many factors, but the most important is the leader.

Judging from their relationship with their leaders, it was basically the people who had stood behind them but chose a different path, and eventually made the Soviet Union chaotic and disintegrated.
