In response to the news, Cindy Walker, senior director of product marketing for Xbox consoles, said, "In order to focus on the production of the Xbox Series X/S, we stopped the production of all Xbox One consoles at the end of 2020,"

In fact, the current generation of Xbox Series S is easily available worldwide at suggested retail prices. This model has as many AMD Zen2 cores as the Xbox Series X, but its CU-constrained GPUs require less wafer space, which means that each wafer has more chips than the Xbox Series X.

The updated Xbox One series features the 16nm AMD Jaguar APU and GCN2 (Bonaire) or GCN4 (Ellesmere) GPU, while the current generation features AMD's latest RDNA2 graphics architecture.

There are now rumors that Microsoft is preparing a 6nm update to the S series. This new version will be available next year, while the price of the original model could drop to the $190-250 range, claiming that Moore's Law is dead.
