However, at this time, Zhaotong was surging in the undercurrent, and Long Rope had secretly developed personal armed forces, colluding with the local Yi tusi leaders to combine with landlord bullies and rogue agents to form a reactionary armed force of up to 80,000 people. Prepare to resist our army to the end.
Within a few months, Long Shengzeng and others began to deliberately create incidents and hold riots, causing heavy casualties in our army and the people. In April 1950, Chen Geng, commander of the Yunnan Military Region, and Song Renqiang, political commissar, invited Long Shengzeng to Kunming to meet, invited him to dinner, placed high hopes on him, did a lot of work for him, and also appointed him as deputy commander of the Zhaotong Garrison District and captain of the general brigade, hoping that he would be able to turn back to the shore, recognize reality, and accept the reorganization.

However, LongShengzeng and others were stubborn, still using their identities to disguise and secretly expand their troops, which aroused the high vigilance of the 43rd Division, and through the telegrams of the Yunnan Military Region, it was shown that Longsheng had accepted Chiang Kai-shek's appointment to him.
Zhang Xianyang, commander of the Forty-third Division, invited LongSheng to the headquarters to solve the problem of rebellion, but Longsheng zeng refused to admit that the generals of our army asked them to concentrate their troops in Zhaotong to accept the reorganization, but LongSheng had played tricks, pretending to be his own troops, gathering them was armed, and they were all people in peacetime, and it was okay to defend their hometowns, but if they were to leave their hometowns, they were not willing. Such a statement is deceptive, that is, to refuse adaptation. In order to refuse to reorganize, he also falsely reported the number of his troops, and the military representatives went to be responsible for reorganizing the army and sent backbone cadres in, but Long Rope had refused.
Later, Long Rope led his main force to move his position privately, moved to the Liangshan area, and occupied the commanding heights of Zhaotong City, and also laid plainclothes near the Zhaotong Garrison Headquarters, which can be described as sima Zhao's heart, which is well known to passers-by.

However, Long Rope Zeng did not listen, and Long Rope zeng then led the bandits to open fire on our army first, and killed the three military representatives sent by our army to reorganize. After two hours of fierce fighting, we encircled and suppressed Longshengzen and other rebels, killed Longshengzen himself, and captured more than 1,000 people below the deputy commander, and the banditry was quickly quelled.
