At 0-24:00 on January 11, 2022, there was a new case of imported asymptomatic infection in Shanghai. The infected person is a Chinese national, studying in the United States, departing from the United States, arriving at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on December 21, 2021, and was placed under centralized isolation and observation after entering customs, during which the nucleic acid test results were negative.
After the case ended 14 days of centralized isolation, during the subsequent 7 days of health monitoring, the nucleic acid test result on the second day was negative, and the nucleic acid test result on the 7th day was abnormal, and after investigation, the nucleic acid test result of the new coronavirus of the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention was positive. After consultation with the municipal expert group, the diagnosis of an asymptomatic infected person is based on the comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging test results.
During the 7-day health surveillance period, the imported cases from abroad were traveled. As of January 11, 37 close contacts of the above-mentioned asymptomatic infected persons in the city have been traced, and all of them have been placed under centralized isolation and observation.
This time, 4 of the 5 new infected people in Shanghai are close contacts of the case. On January 13, according to the press conference on epidemic prevention and control in Shanghai, the circulation survey showed that the 5 new infected persons were all associated with a case of asymptomatic infection imported from abroad reported by the city on January 11, which belonged to the same chain of transmission and were routinely detected during the isolation and control period.
At the press conference on January 13, Zeng Qun, deputy director of the Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, introduced that the management of inbound personnel during the home health monitoring period, it is clear that it is not necessary to go out at home, try to eat one person and one food, and maintain a certain distance from the people living together. For a very small number of violations of the provisions of the "14 + 7" management measures, serious disciplinary measures will be taken in accordance with laws and regulations, and relevant responsibilities will be investigated.
As of 19:00 on January 13, 304 close contacts of the above 5 people have been screened in Shanghai, and all of them have been isolated and controlled, and the nucleic acid test results of the new coronavirus are negative. A total of 2830 people have been screened in Shanghai, all of whom have implemented isolation and control, and the nucleic acid test results of the new crown virus are negative.
