People with pollen allergies need to wear masks, not because of influenza or because of the new crown

Since the beginning of December last year, many people around me have been infected with the new crown. Many friends' new crown symptoms have lasted for more than a month. Fortunately, the Spring Festival came, and we also had a good rest for a while.

But at the end of last month (late February), many friends were recruited again. I also unfortunately started on March 2 and contracted influenza A. And this time the symptoms of influenza A are not milder than the new crown.

I burned the new crown for one day, and this time I burned for two days;

I burned 38.5 degrees for the new crown, and this time I burned to 40 degrees;

The new crown cough is not bad, this time I have been coughing for nine days;

The new crown weight has not changed, this time I lost two kilograms;

I took ibuprofen for two days to reduce my fever, and I didn't take any other medications, and I have started to resume exercise in these two days. On March 19th, I will participate in the first marathon of the year: the Chongqing Marathon!

But today, I don't want to say a stream. Because influenza A is not a new disease, we have had influenza A before. Most of us have also been able to carry a flutal and recover from it. I would like to talk about a special category of people:

This type of person should wear a mask more strictly recently, and it is fundamentally different from wearing a mask in a closed indoor crowd, which has become a mask in an empty outdoors!

You guessed it, I'm talking about people with pollen allergies!

In March, not only the cherry blossoms of Wuhan University will bloom, but the spring blossom season has gradually entered all over the country!

Recently, many patients with pollen allergy have begun to sneeze, runny nose, itchy eyes and other symptoms.

This kind of sneezing is not the same as sneezing with a cold or pneumonia. We would sneeze non-stop. When it is strong, dozens of sneezes will be sneezed in a row, and there will be sweating all over the body (consuming a lot of physical strength), dizziness (increased pressure in the chest and abdomen, resulting in cerebral congestion).

What annoys us is that sometimes sneezing starts before waking up in the early hours of the morning, or we are woken up by our own sneezing! The scariest thing is that when we suddenly sneeze while driving, we may lose control of the vehicle...

After sneezing, no, there is no need to finish, while sneezing, the snot has already begun to flow. Yes, you read that right, it's flowing, and we probably won't have a chance to take out tissues to stop them!

The degree of itchy eyes and the itch understood by patients without pollen allergy, by no means an order of magnitude! When it is light, we will keep rubbing our eyes non-stop, non-stop, non-stop! In serious cases, we even want to pick out the eyeballs, brush them with a brush and put them back!

I still have symptoms of itchy ears and throat, do you have it?

Finally, it's time to get to the point. Whenever my throat is itchy, I also have thicker breath sounds and even a little difficulty breathing. Fortunately, each time my breathing difficulties were short-lived, and they gradually eased on their own.

These are mild allergies! These mild allergic reactions are not fatal. After all these years, I have survived. The main ways to survive are:

1. Avoid contact with allergens:

Go out less and open windows less;

Wear a mask when going out;

wear goggles (avoid contact with the conjunctiva and pollen);

Avoid going to parks with high pollen concentrations;

Avoid going outside during the day (pollen concentration is higher during the day than at night);

2. Use anti-allergic drugs:

Oral anti-allergy drugs: Don't wait until you have a continuous sneeze before you think of taking medicine, I personally feel that the north should start taking anti-allergy drugs before the warmth stops. Because the drug takes a certain amount of time to work.

Anti-allergic drugs for nasal spraying: insist on spraying every day, and when the first spray, there may also be sneezing, which may be irritated by the nasal mucosa, so there is no need to be nervous.

Eye drops: Cromolyn sodium eye drops have not worked for me, I am now using Patanolo and the results are not bad.

3. Temporary departure from the place of residence:

In previous years, whenever I went to the south on a business trip during the spring allergy season, the symptoms of allergies would be significantly relieved; Back in the north, allergies reappear.

Of course, the above are mild allergies. Mild allergic reactions are not life-threatening, while severe allergic reactions can be life-threatening. Academician Zhong Nanshan once rescued an allergic patient on the plane, and he quickly assessed that the patient was not a severe allergic reaction.

If it is a severe allergic reaction, it can be life-threatening at any time! The woman in the video below is a severe allergy sufferer who gives herself an immediate life-saving first aid measure:

Yes, she gave herself an adrenaline pen!

I only understand first aid, so all the drugs involved in this article were prescribed to me by the allergist, whether you are suitable or not, please be sure to consult a doctor.
