The "Kaleidoscope of Civilization - Exhibition of Ancient Syrian Cultural Relics" has been launched at the Jinsha Site Museum.
This exhibition selects 183 pieces (sets) of exhibits, with the flow of historical time as the main line, telling the historical process of Syria from the Paleolithic Age, through the Bronze and Iron Ages, to the Hellenistic, Roman and Islamic eras. From household items to ceremonial utensils, from portrait sculptures to architectural decorations, from Assyrian frescoes to Greek silver coins.
The entrance to the central area of the exhibition hall recreates the magnificent arch of the Assyrian Palace in three dimensions. The walls are decorated with Assyrian reliefs, and on both sides of the arch stand two 2-meter-tall human-winged cow statues, showing the original Assyrian style.
