As Geely's high-end electric vehicle brand, Extreme Kr Automobile began batch delivery later last year, and the total number of deliveries of Extreme Kr 001 has exceeded 6,000 units.
At the 2022 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the Extreme Krypton brand also announced a partnership with Mobileye, Intel's autonomous driving division, with the goal of launching self-driving cars in China by 2024.
It is reported that the car will provide L4 self-driving capabilities and be able to completely free hands in specific environments, and the two companies said that the new ZEEKR model will be equipped with 6 EyeQ 5 chips.
However, the hasty mass production delivery of the extreme Kr 001 has also been exposed to various defects, which makes many car owners headaches, although the official promise will be solved through OTA and other ways in the later stage, but the name of "semi-finished products" is falling, I don't know if the 001 that will be exported to Europe next year will completely make up for these deficiencies.
In addition, Geely Automobile, the parent company of Extreme Kr Automobile, said that by 2025, it will achieve a total sales volume of 3.65 million vehicles, maintaining the market share of Chinese brands and catching up with mainstream joint venture brands, of which 650,000 vehicles are Extreme Kr Automobile and 3 million are Geely Automobile Group.
