Yan Tiemu'er, born of the Chincha clan, his father Wu'er and his ancestor Tuha were both Mongol generals, and they made many great achievements in destroying the country and suppressing rebellion. In the first year of Emperor Renzong's reign (1312 CE), Yan Timur took over his father's post and served as the commander of the Left Guard army and began to control the military power. In the first year of Zhihe (1328 AD), when the thirty-six-year-old Emperor Taiding collapsed in The capital Kaiping Province, after the bad news of the emperor's collapse reached Dadu, Yan Tiemu'er, who was then the commander-in-chief of the Forbidden Army, for political purposes, united with princess Chajir, the clan party Ara Timur and others, quickly controlled the situation, intimidated hundreds of officials by force, and imprisoned all dissidents such as The Pingzhang government affairs Uberdu. After stabilizing the capital's situation, Yan Timur sent people to welcome back Tu Timu'er, the second son of Emperor Wuzong of Yuan, who was living in Jiangling, who returned to the throne with his support for Emperor Wenzong of Yuan. Originally, according to the patriarchal system of "orderly longevity and order", the throne should be inherited by Emperor Yuanwuzong's eldest son and hereditary lineage, but because he had launched a rebellion, Emperor Yuanwuzong died and was exiled, so he could not succeed to the throne. After Emperor Wenzong ascended the throne, in order to appease the ministers of the imperial court, he promised that he would choose the opportunity to give the throne to his brother in the future.

After the news of Emperor Wenzong's ascension to the throne reached Shangdu, Emperor Taiding's confidants Zuo Cheng Xiang (左丞相) was horrified, and after some deliberation, the courtiers decided to make Emperor Taiding's son Asoji Eight emperor, that is, Emperor Yuanshun. After completing the enthronement ceremony, He ordered the people to write a text, and personally commanded the Shangdu Tianzi Guards army to launch a fierce attack on Dadu, and the "Battle of the Two Capitals", which is recorded in the annals of history, broke out. When Yan Tiemu'er learned of the shangdu army coming, he personally led the army to meet the battle, and the puppet regime of Emperor Shun was soon suppressed, after this battle, Emperor Wenzong of Yuan made the meritorious yan Timur the right minister of Zhongshu, the privy council, and the title of "Answering Han" (a special honor in the Yuan Dynasty, who could avoid death from generation to generation, freely enter and leave the palace, and use the imperial etiquette) to give him the title of Prince of Taiping.

Soon, Heshi returned to Dadu from outside, and Emperor Wenzong of Yuan abdicated as promised, and Heshi ascended the throne for Emperor Yuanmingzong. After Emperor Yuanmingzong succeeded to the throne, dissatisfied with Yan Timur's monstrous power, he began to install his confidants in various departments in the dprk and China, and gradually alienated and rejected the officials of Yan Timur'er in order to elevate Yan Timur. Half a year later, Emperor Yuanmingzong died violently during the southern tour, and everyone in the world suspected that Yan Timur was killing the king, but the courtiers were intimidated by the latter's power and had no choice but to remain silent. Emperor Yuanwenzong was restored, and his attitude toward Yan Timur became more and more respectful, and he did not even dare to speak loudly to him.

After Yan Timur regained power in the imperial government and held the emperor hostage, he began to indulge in beauty. According to relevant historical records, at the beginning of Emperor Wenzong's restoration, according to court practice, the concubines of Emperor Taiding should be placed in Andong Prefecture (安東州, in present-day Lianshui County, Jiangsu) and never returned. Therefore, the matter was so important that Emperor Wenzong of Yuan sent Yan Timur to personally escort him, who knew that Yan Timur had long coveted Emperor Taiding's concubines for a long time, admired the beauty of Emperor Taiding's empresses Babuhan, Concubine Bihan, Su Gedari and others, and on the way, they even took all three of them as wives and concubines, and Emperor Yuanwenzong and Emperor Mengyuan were forced by Yan Timur's power and could only crown Eight Buhan as Princess Taiping. In this way, the empress of a dynasty openly became the wife of a powerful courtier, which was the first time in history.

After this incident, Yan Tiemu'er became more and more bold, and successively adopted more than 40 clan daughters of the Yuan Dynasty as concubines, including extraordinary princesses, county lords and county lords, and all of them voluntarily married into the Taiping Palace, mainly to avoid their parents being implicated and persecuted due to their political struggle. According to historical records, Yan Timur was "even more absurd and adulterous, and his body was drowned in blood." Since then, the emperor of the Yuan Dynasty has completely become a puppet of the powerful ministers, and the dynasty has also been broken in the hands of these weak monarchs and strong subjects.
