The son of Emperor Wuzong of Yuan, who was demoted to Jiangling, was welcomed back to the imperial palace to inherit the throne, and was known as Emperor Wenzong of Yuan, and Yan Timur was given the title of Zhongshu Zuo Cheng Xiang.
At the same time, there were still some old ministers who stayed in Shangdu and dealt with the aftermath of Emperor Taiding, so they pushed Emperor Taiding's son Asokji Eight to the throne, and ordered people to write a text, send troops to attack Dadu, how to expect Yan Timur to be brave and good at war, with a little courage, and soon eliminated the Asokji Eight regime, And Yan Tiemu'er also completely grasped the military, political and supervisory powers of the Yuan Dynasty because of this counter-rebellion.
After Emperor Yuanwenzong succeeded to the throne, in order to stabilize the people's hearts, he promised to cede the throne to his brother in the future, and in 1329, Emperor Yuanwuzong's eldest son and Emperor Yuanwenzong returned, and Emperor Yuanwenzong had no choice but to give up the throne, but at that time, Yan Timur was only one person in his heart, so after Emperor Yuanmingzong and Shi came to Dadu, he secretly murdered him and once again made Emperor Yuanwenzong ascend to the throne, and since then Emperor Yuanwenzong has trusted him more.
For the death of Heshi, many people suspected that the murderer was Yan Tiemu'er, but because of the fear of his power, no one dared to question it in public, and in order to thank Yan Tiemu'er, Emperor Yuanwuzong abolished the position of Zuo Cheng xiang and let Yan Tiemu'er take sole power. The powerful Yan Tiemu'er began to be dissatisfied with the status quo and coveted beauty.
