In the eastern part of the Forbidden City, there is ningshou palace, which was originally the place where the emperor retires, and now in addition to retaining the corresponding buildings, it also displays the daily necessities of the emperors in some buildings, which is the Treasure Museum of the Forbidden City. The Treasure Hall exhibits a variety of gemstones, the emperor's ornaments, daily utensils, imperial jewelry and so on.
The mink-encrusted winter crown is a hat worn by the empress dowager and empress dowager of the Qing Dynasty in winter. The hat is 30 cm high, dome-shaped, made of fine mink skin, decorated with three phoenixes made of gold, and the top of the hat is decorated with a large east bead, not only that, the hat is also inlaid with opals and several gemstones of various types.
Does this thing look like a prop on the stage? This is really like a fake crown. Unearthed in 1956 at the Changping Ding Mausoleum in Beijing, this phoenix crown was the top hat of Empress Xiaojing of Emperor Mingshenzong. Some friends will ask, what is a top hat? Simply put, it is the hat worn by the queen when she is canonized, of course, when there are major festivals and ancestor sacrifices. The hat is woven from bamboo silk and decorated with eighteen plum blossoms inlaid with pearls and gemstones. There is also a red sapphire setting along the mouth.
The golden-terrestrial coral peach box is a product of the Qing Dynasty, it is 19 cm high, 22.5 cm long, 20 cm wide, and the whole is peach-shaped. The outside of the peach box is red coral, the inside is a golden tire, the outside is carved by a number of pieces of red coral splicing, the surface of the peach box is carved with the word "Shou" of the book, surrounded by a bat with wings outstretched, and nine dragons hidden in the clouds. This golden-tired coral peach box is not only complex in craftsmanship, but also extremely exquisite in production technology, and should be used to store jewelry in the palace.
This is one of my favorite exhibits, the Qianlong gold tire filigree enamel inlay painting enamel holding pot, you take a look, is there a little exotic feeling? Yes, the painting in the bottle is involved in the expressive techniques of European painting, which is a royal art masterpiece that combines Chinese and Western styles. Although this wine pot is made of The Qianlong Year, the shape of the vessel follows the style of the Ming Dynasty. As we all know, we often have copper tire filigree enamel, but this wine pot is a golden tire.
Do you usually drink? The most important container for wine is glass, but look at the emperor's drinking container, gold! This is the Emperor of the Qing Dynasty used to drink wine with the golden hammer dragon pattern flat pot, the wine pot is made of pure gold, the pattern is engraved process, extremely luxurious and rich.
What does a real jade seal look like? This is the "Treasure of Fengtian" in the early Qing Dynasty, the emperor's seal letter, the so-called jade seal is actually the "chapter" in the mouth of the common people. The so-called "Fengtian" is actually from the Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang's "Ancestral Training" and the "Fengtian Fazu" classic.
There are so many treasures in the Treasure Museum, but for the 1.8 million items in the Palace Museum of China, it is a rarity.
