According to the Analects of Yan Yuan, Qi Jinggong once asked Confucius about the government, and Confucius replied: "The king is a subject, a father and a son." It means that those who are kings must do the way of kings, and those who are subjects must do the way of kings, and the same is true between father and son. However, in the history of our country, there are always some emperors who are faint and unscrupulous, and there are always some powerful ministers who deceive the king, such as a Yuan Dynasty minister named Boya Wutai Yan Timur, who can be called the most arrogant and arrogant power minister in ancient times, and has no way of being a subject.
Born in the 22nd year of the Yuan Dynasty (1285 AD), Boya Wutai Yan Tiemu'er was the third son of the Qincha clan of the Yuan Dynasty at that time. Because of his innate divine power and skilled bow and horse, when he was a teenager, he was recommended by his father to become the subearer of the then Emperor Bo'er Jin Haishan. In the eleventh year of Yuan Dade (1307 AD), after Haishan (Yuan Wuzong) succeeded to the throne, he promoted Yan Tiemu'er, who had followed him for many years and was loyal to him, to the position of Tongzhi Xuanhui Yuan, and this later powerful minister entered the political arena.

In the spring of the first year of emperor Yuan's reign (1312 AD), after Emperor Yuanrenzong ascended the throne, Yan Tiemu'er succeeded his father Assyle's left guard and commanded the post of envoy, and over the next 16 years, he served three emperors, the official to the Privy Council. In the first year of Yuan Zhihe (1328 AD), Emperor Taiding was critically ill, and Yan Timur immediately conspired with the kings in secret, and after Emperor Taiding's death, he launched a coup d'état to establish Emperor Wuzong of Yuan as emperor. In July of that year, Emperor Taiding died in Shangdu, at which time Yan Timur and others took advantage of the situation to launch a coup d'état to occupy Dadu, and sent people to welcome back the deposed Emperor Wuzong of Yuanwu's second son, Bao'er Tu Timu'er (Yuan Wenzong), and embraced him as emperor, and Yan Timur was made the Prince of Taiping and the Right Chancellor of Zhongshu.

At the same time, the ministers in Shangdu also supported Emperor Taiding's crown prince Bao'er Jin Asoji (Emperor Yuan Tianshun) as emperor, and then sent an army to attack Dadu, but soon lost to Yan Timur, who also used this to control the military, political, and supervisory powers of the Yuan Dynasty. In the second year of the YuanTian calendar (1329 AD), Emperor Wuzong's eldest son, Emperor Yuanwuzong, returned from the northwest, and Emperor Wenzong of Yuan had to return the throne to his brother, and Emperor Yuanmingzong took the throne and made his brother Tu Timu'er (Emperor Wenzong) crown prince. However, Yan Tiemu'er was only bent on supporting Emperor Wenzong of Yuan, so he plotted to murder Emperor Yuan mingzong and Emperor Yuanwenzong after he returned to Dadu, and once again established Emperor Yuanwenzong as emperor.

After Emperor Wenzong of Yuan, who had abdicated less than seven months ago, ascended the throne again, he relied more heavily on Yan Timur, a courtier who had twice embraced him. Believing that Yan Tiemu'er was already the Right Minister, he no longer set up a Left Chancellor, and also entrusted all the political affairs of the imperial government to him, and also ordered all the imperial relatives and officials not to cross Yan Tiemu'er to play to Emperor Wenzong of Yuan without authorization, and even let his son, Crown Prince Guna, recognize Yan Timur as his father.

Since then, Yan Timur's power has fallen to the opposition, although there is no name for the emperor, but the power held is even greater than the emperor, so that according to the "Biography of Tang Qishi in the History of Yuan", his son Tang Qishi once threatened: "The world under my family!" "This world is not the world of Yuan Wenzong at all, but the world of Yan Tiemu'er's family."
The powerful Yan Tiemu'er unscrupulously installed his own confidants in the dprk, occupying countless mansions and fields, and embezzling a large amount of wealth. As the saying goes, "full of warmth and lust", not to mention that Yan Timur is a lustful person. Because Emperor Taiding's previous struggle for power had failed, Emperor Taiding's concubines were personally escorted and sent to Andong Prefecture by Yan Timur. However, Because of his covetous beauty, Yan Tiemu'er openly married Empress Babuhan back home as a wife, and also took two of Emperor Taiding's favorite concubines and married them home as concubines.

In addition, once Yan Tiemu'er found that there were princesses in the royal family and the beautiful county lords were all brought home, and in order to please him, a total of 40 clan princesses before and after were willing to give him concubines, and even in the end, Yan Tiemu'er could not recognize all his wives and concubines, and eventually Yan Tiemu'er was also violent because of excessive absurdity. After Yan Tiemu'er's death, his family still controlled the government of the Yuan Dynasty, and his brother became Zuo Cheng Xiang and his son was Yu Shi Dafu. It was not until the yuan dynasty to the first year of the yuan (1335 AD) that the daughter of Yan Timur, when the empress Dowager Boya Wushi was beheaded, did the Yan Timur family completely withdraw from the political arena of the Yuan Dynasty.
During the Warring States period, Lü Buwei, a xiang state of the Qin state of Qin, and his disciples compiled the "Spring and Autumn of the Lü Clan", which has a saying: "The whole must be lacking, and the extreme must be reversed."
