Every child's education is experimental, and we simply cannot accurately predict their lives. Just like a gardener can never accurately predict the taste of fruit.
But education makes sense.
If you want to provide a good education for your children, I think there are three things that need to be done well.
First, love and trust. Without air and water, seeds are doomed to die, and without love and trust, education is not established. Only in a safe, inclusive, warm or pleasant atmosphere will children become interested in things and interested in learning.
Second, leave enough room for growth. Whether a child is an active learner or a passive receiver depends entirely on how we see him. Can he be allowed to make mistakes? Without these, it may be difficult for children to form a self-growing and self-perfecting personality, let alone self-directed learning. Third, value first-hand experience. We always think that learning from books is real learning, in fact, for children, first-hand experience and intuitive feelings are the basis for learning. Adequate nutrients ensure better germination, flowering and fruiting of seeds. The nourishment of education comes from personal experience, not second-hand books.
The same is true of a good view of aesthetic education.

Drawing can gradually cultivate children's concentration, rather than children using concentration to "cultivate" drawing. Your child's poor concentration is not his fault, it's just that he's still too young. Even if the child only has 3 minutes of concentration in painting, we must trust him and encourage him to draw independently. This time you can complete 3 minutes, next time you may create 5 minutes, please let go and give autonomy back to your child.

Painting is the same as most of the principles of learning to do things, the more you draw, the more you can naturally draw well. Instead of worrying about whether the child is talented, it is better to focus on how to stimulate the child's long-term interest in painting, let him develop the habit of painting, and finally let him know that everything needs to be achieved by hard work and persistence.

There is no contradiction between playing and drawing. On the contrary, only by playing enough and having fun enough can children be inspired to draw. Only when there is play can there be feelings; only with feelings can there be desires to express. What we have to do is not to let the child draw for the sake of drawing, but to let him understand that he can draw all the things he has played and experienced, even if the lines are simple and the drawing skills are childish.

"Children always draw the same thing, what to do?"

At this time, in addition to helping him build a creative view, we can also use the magic weapon of "story" to stimulate him to expand his expression by listening to stories and telling stories with children (picture books are a good tool), so that he realizes that he can draw stories, and finally achieve more and more rich pictorial expressions, as well as release his imagination.

I have heard friends share the teaching "secrets" of many art institutions before:
For example, if you want to guide your child to draw a vase, show them a large number of vase pictures, and they extend the work through the "visual stimulation" of these pictures.
Although painting itself is indeed a visual art, it is definitely a misunderstanding of art to guide painting in this way alone.
Therefore, when some parents ask me if I can guide my children to look at pictures and draw pictures, I will patiently tell them that this method may work quickly, but it is the end of the book.
If we want our children to benefit from painting and art for a lifetime, we still need to focus on the "non-painting" level.
