One day in July 1997, an old man from Japan accompanied by his son came to the place where the three "Wolf Tooth Mountain Heroes" were sacrificed that year, and while prostrating his head and apologizing, he wept bitterly, his name was Yusuke Maoda, a veteran of the Japanese invasion of China that year, and one of the Japanese troops who drove out the "Five Heroes of Wolf's Tooth Mountain" and killed them all.
He said that he was the squad leader of the team, and more than 170 Japanese troops chased the Eighth Route Army all the way to Wolf's Tooth Mountain, more than 170 people were actually beaten to only 70 people, with heavy losses, but in the end they successfully caught up with the Eighth Route Army by relying on the tactics of the sea of people and the continuous supply, but unexpectedly our army preferred to die, and when the bullets ran out, they exchanged stones, and the stones actually chose to jump off the cliff and commit suicide!
At that time, the "Five Heroes of Wolf Tooth Mountain" shouted: "Down with Japanese imperialism!" Long live the Communist Party of China! As soon as he jumped, Kayota Kosuke witnessed this extremely tragic scene, he was deeply shocked, took off his hat with his men to pay tribute to the 5 heroes, and announced that he would retreat and was not allowed to continue attacking.
Afterwards, the Japanese government learned of this incident, and was very dissatisfied with Kayata Kosuke's approach, and they severely punished Kayata Kosuke in shame and anger, but he did not say anything, silently endured everything, and in the days to come, Kayata Kosuke could not forget the heinous crimes he committed in China.
So in 1997, he went back to this place, and he wanted to repent. Liu Jianjun, the county magistrate of Yi County at that time, knew about this incident and immediately rushed to the scene, saw Maotian Yusuke kneeling on the ground and crying bitterly, he stepped forward and saw the arrival of Liu Jianjun, Maotian Yusuke quickly let his son go to the trunk of the car to take out a box.
Kaota Kosuke solemnly handed the box to Liu Jianjun, and inside it was a Japanese saber, and Kayota Yusuke said, "It is the knife I wielded to hunt down and kill the 'Five Heroes of Wolf Tooth Mountain', and later it participated in the 'Blood Well' massacre in Beiqi Village under the mountain, this knife is stained with the blood of Chinese, it is my nightmare for so many years!" ”
