Wolf's Tooth Mountain is located in the territory of Yi County, Hebei Province, because the mountain is lined with strange peaks, strange rocks, extremely steep, like wolf's teeth, locally known as Wolf's Tooth Mountain.
In August 1941, the Japanese army mobilized a large number of troops to carry out a "great sweep" of the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Region in an attempt to encroach on and disintegrate the base area. On September 25, the Japanese army gathered more than 3,000 troops to besiege the Area of Langya Mountain, southwest of Yi County, in an attempt to annihilate the Eighth Route Army and local organs in the area. In the face of the menacing enemy, in order to transfer the troops and confuse the enemy, the squad leader Ma Baoyu and the soldiers Song Xueyi, Ge Zhenlin, Hu Delin, and Hu Fucai were ordered to stay behind to block the enemy and cover the retreat of the troops.

Ma Baoyu and 5 other people took advantage of the favorable terrain and were calm and brave, repelling the Japanese attack many times and killing more than 90 enemy people. In order to confuse the enemy, they fought and retreated, and led the enemy to the top of the Chessboard Peak of Wolf's Tooth Mountain, and the enemy thought that it had bitten the main force of the Eighth Route Army, and mobilized a large number of troops to encircle the top of the Chessboard Peak.
The high road of the checkerboard top mountain is steep, cliffs on three sides, only one road can be up and down, 5 warriors with the help of favorable terrain, condescending, one shot in the east and one shot in the west, grenade explosions one after another, the enemy thought that it surrounded the large troops, screaming and shouting crazy attack. The battle was extremely fierce, Ma Baoyu was injured in the thigh by a bomb, blood was gushing, and soon there was not much ammunition. Bullets can only be used with stones, the five people with all their strength to smash a large stone at the enemy, the mountain stream rumbled a loud noise, the boulders with stones rolled down the mountain, the Japanese army was smashed head broken and bloody, countless casualties, one after another defeated.

Catch alive! "Five people were forced to the edge of the cliff. Ma Baoyu walked step by step to the edge of the cliff, and the others also followed, everyone knew that there was no way back, and they understood what to do. Ma Baoyu put his arm around Ge Zhenlin's shoulder and said awe-inspiringly, "No matter what, no one can be taken prisoner!" ”
After speaking, he looked at the other 3 warriors, and suddenly fixed his eyes on the three or eight large cover guns in his hand, saying: "People have sacrificed, and guns cannot be called enemies!" ”
He threw the gun into the deep valley, then shouted slogans and was the first to jump off the cliff. At the same time, Ge Zhenlin grabbed his gun and threw it the stone, casually threw it into the valley, and flew to the edge of the cliff. Hu Delin, Hu Fucai, and Song Xueyi also ran to the edge of the cliff, shouting slogans and jumping into the cliffs, and the slogans of the mighty mountains and rivers echoed in the canyon.

In the process of rapid descent, Ge Zhenlin, out of the survival instinct, involuntarily reached out and grabbed it, felt that he grabbed the branch, and fell down, and finally suddenly his body was empty, and he crashed again, and he actually stopped facing the mountain and his ass toward the ditch, and he also heard a shot in the direction of the top of the mountain, fired a few shots, and there was no more movement.
Ge Zhenlin stood up in severe pain and gritted his teeth and climbed up the hillside. On the way, he found Song Xueyi stuck among the trees. Song Xueyi was also lucky to escape from death, but he broke his waist in the process of falling, and Ge Zhenlin pulled him to climb with him. Ge Zhenlin shouted the names of the other 3 comrades-in-arms again, but did not hear a response, but attracted Yu Yaofu, director of the Yi County Youth Rescue Association. Yu Yaofu originally followed the large troops to move, but in the breakthrough, he was separated from the large troops and hid in the mountain forest under the cliff, just in time to hear Ge Zhenlin's shouts.
With the help of his fellow villagers, Yu Yaofu helped the two soldiers back to the company. Hearing that Song Xueyi and Ge Zhenlin had returned, the whole company boiled over, and all the soldiers came to see them, surrounding them to the point of no return. Everyone couldn't help but ask about the whereabouts of the other 3 comrades-in-arms, ge Zhenlin and Song Xueyi couldn't help but cry bitterly, saying that they knew that the three people had jumped off the cliff, but they had not found their whereabouts. The soldiers did not know at that time that Ma Baoyu, Hu Fucai, and Hu Delin had already died heroically.
In May 1942, the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region held a victory-making meeting for the naming of the "Five Heroes of Wolf-Tooth Mountain" and the victory of the anti-"sweeping", awarded the three martyrs the title of "Model Honorary Warrior", and issued a general order to commend Ge Zhenlin and Song Xueyi, and awarded the medal of "Brave and Tenacious".

Song Xueyi was seriously injured in the waist when jumping off a cliff, and in 1947, he returned to his hometown of Beikong Village in Qinyang City, Henan Province, where he served as the village party secretary for many years. He never took credit for himself and lived a low-key life. In 1971, Song Xueyi died at the age of 53.
After recovering from his injuries, Ge Zhenlin did not leave the army, continued to participate in the War of Liberation and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and made many meritorious achievements, successively serving as a staff officer, company commander, battalion commander, deputy director of the logistics department of the military sub-district (deputy division level), and died in Hengyang in 2005 at the age of 88.
