There is a penmanship, but the foundation is weak
This student has the ability to identify many technique points, such as the position of the arrow in the following figure, the shape, the thickness, and the elasticity, which are still good.
However, his basic brushwork is very weak, one is the top paper, the other is the center, look at it -
Why do the places marked by the arrows appear jagged? Why does the long skim suddenly thin after hypertrophy?
The root cause is that you have not developed good pen habits. Lack of understanding of the most important feature of the Yan Ti Kai shu ,"seal qi", the failure to resist the paper, and the failure to put the sharpening action in place after starting the pen.
Dragging the pen, not the top paper, the flanking, rather than the side turn, these two basic actions are not in place, the word seems to be procrastinating, no spirit.

The roughness of the stroke form shaping
The writing of the ancients, whether it is writing letters or stele, is mostly based on the practical nature of "natural writing", and the natural form between pen and pen is definitely a natural expression.

The tool system is not right

Yan body is a favorite book for a large number of beginners, and it is also a popular teaching subject for a large number of training courses. It is easy to fall into the metaphysical misunderstanding of learning the face, and what you see on the surface is thought to be the core, what you think is accurate in line with the imagination, and what you write a bit like thinks it is right...
