Wang Naiyong grew up slowly in the soil like many peasant children, the older generation is meticulous farming, not much literacy, but in the field are a good hand, the land makes the fathers both tired and happy to serve, so Wang Naiyong's family furnishings are mostly ploughs and rakes, and the family can produce a calligrapher that the fathers can't think of in their dreams. Every year during the Spring Festival, adults go to the school teachers to sincerely ask for the Spring Festival, and Wang Naiyong saw the words flowing out of the pen, ink and paper for the first time on the school desk.

Wang Naiyong, who is in elementary school, is occasionally naughty, when the teacher turns around to write on the blackboard, he will stand up and take the chalk head to bounce at the classmates who are as restless as him, and such a prank is always severely criticized by the teacher; but Wang Naiyong is also smart, because after watching the Bao Gong play in the village, he can use a pencil to draw Bao Gong's black face on the paper; Wang Naiyong is serious, serious almost "stupid", when the teacher lets students write 10 commas, other students use pencils to write one by one, And he must draw the circle of the comma with a pen before he is willing to end it. Wang Naiyong first picked up the brush in the early 80s of the last century, the eldest brother had a classmate to write a brush word is famous, the eldest brother took it to let him see, let him see is to let him learn, the eldest brother classmate wrote the Yan body, of course, this is what he later knew, at that time only felt that this word was decent, in his eyes is simply unparalleled. Wang Naiyong went to Xiaoji Middle School in 1983, and a year later, he participated in the recruitment and entered the top 60 in the county. At that time, there were very few technical secondary schools in the country, and he was admitted to the Xinxiang Normal School, which was undoubtedly a great news for a peasant child who had just come out of the countryside. Wang Naiyong's fathers in Chunzhuang were overjoyed when they heard the news, and they did not expect that this boy who had practiced his fists and feet hard in the wheat field could also stand on the podium and teach other people's children to read in the future.

In the autumn of 1984, as soon as Wang Naiyong entered the normal school, he met Mr. Wan Xin, the master of his calligraphy. Teacher training students are required to write three strokes (chalk characters, pen characters, brush characters), Teacher Fu is teaching brush characters, Mr. Is a gentleman, writes a good face, and is both bitter and harsh to the students. But the course is the course, the brush class is not the main course, and many students basically say goodbye to the brush after learning. Teacher Fu liked him too much, not only because of his love for calligraphy, but also because he felt that he had a spirituality in pen and ink. Wang Naiyong followed Teacher Fu to eat "small stove" every day, knew Yan Liu Ou Zhao, knew the Tibetan Feng Lu Feng, knew the Ti Press, he was gradually melted by pen and ink, and captured by black and white.

In fact, at this time, Wang Naiyong had just stood on the edge of the sea of calligraphy, and he had not yet felt the depth of the vast sea of the sea. The more he studied, the more he felt his own shallowness, and the more he wrote, the more he realized his own shortcomings. Dissatisfied with himself is always the beginning of progress, he wants to look for the city's calligraphy circle of high people, humbly seek advice, point out the confusion, and quickly enter the colorful world of calligraphy.

In the first month of 1988, Wang Naiyong entrusted him to Chef Li Shaoli of the Xinxiang County Commercial Bureau. Our lovely Xinxiang City calligraphers can be both guests of officials and businessmen and regular guests of commoners, and Li Shaoli's few small dishes are deeply loved by several Xinxiang City calligraphy masters, and they often drink at Li Shaoli. So within two days, Wang Naiyong mentioned Luzhou Daqu to meet the famous calligraphers inside and outside the province, Teacher Feng Zhifu, Teacher Wang Hai, and Teacher Liu Sentang. After making friends with Zhang Ruitu, Wang Naiyong continued to advance into the depths of history by Zhang Ruitu, and he came to the Eastern Jin Dynasty to pay tribute to Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi's father and son. Wang Xizhi's "Preface to the Orchid Pavilion" is known as the "First Line of Books under Heaven", and his "Seventeen Theses" are regarded by calligraphers as "dragon elephants in the book", which is the supreme model for learning cursive writing. In the absolute time of pen, ink and paper, Wang Naiyong is by no means the frontrunner, there are more calligraphy enthusiasts studying in the morning and dusk, and even Hao Shou is poor but does not have the essentials, circling in a nest and finally unable to solve. Wang Naiyong's ability and integrity in calligraphy made him the chairman of the Municipal Book Association in 2019, when the literary and art associations of the Xinxiang Municipal Federation of Literature and Art were undisputed and unanimously expected, and in September of that year, he was elected vice chairman of the Henan Calligraphers Association. In the past, when a person did calligraphy, he could think of anything, but now that he is the leader of the book association, he wants to think about everything. Of course, he still has to continue to do social welfare activities, write Spring Festival leagues to the masses, donate money and materials to the people in need and disaster areas, and participate in various emergency and volunteer activities in society. But what makes him toss and turn is the letters he often sees, so many young masters, doctors and talents from all walks of life have written Chinese characters such as dead branches and leaves, crabs crawling snakes, so that he can't bear to read.

He wondered, is the calligraphy of the Chinese nation just a form of culture? Is it really just an art of appreciation?
