At the recent 2022 CES show, Sony officially released the VISION S 02 concept car, and announced that Sony Motors will be officially established in the spring of 2022.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a design language similar to that of the previously released VISION-S concept car, and the through-line light strip makes the front face have a high sense of technology and recognition, while the front face does not adopt a fully enclosed design, but is equipped with a larger size ventilation opening, which adds a bit of sportiness.
In terms of sides, the new car adopts a closed wheel shape with low wind resistance, which is different from the previous VISION-S concept car, which is believed to be a change made to improve the mileage, and the new car also adopts a two-color body design, which adds a bit of fashion as a whole. In addition, since the car is positioned as an SUV, the official also added black trim plates to the wheel eyebrows and under the door panels, thus adding a touch of personality to the new car.
In the rear part, the new car adopts a through-line LED taillight group, which forms a certain echo with the front face design and brings a certain degree of recognition. In addition, a two-color design is also adopted under the rear enveloping, with the design of the tailgate and the license plate area, so that the tail has a certain sense of layering.
In terms of interior, the official only exhibited the design pictures this time, and from the pictures we can see that they are basically the same as the VISION-S concept car. The whole is equipped with a through-channel multi-screen design, with a knob-type gear shift mechanism, a touch screen below the central control, a penetrating air outlet, etc., making the new car very technological and futuristic, and these aspects are also very much in line with Sony's long-term technology-based tonality.
At the same time, the interior of the new car also uses white as the main color, which makes the interior more luxurious. In addition, the new car will be equipped with a number of new autonomous driving technologies, connected vehicles, and up to 40 sensors to further enhance the car experience.

In terms of power, the official has not released the specific data of the new car, but with reference to the previous concept car, it is expected that the two will share power, equipped with a front and rear dual-drive motor with a maximum power of 400kW, and an acceleration time of 0-100km/h for 4.8 seconds.
