At the CES Sony launch booth, the company showcased an existing Sony Vision-S sedan unveiled at CES last year. This year, the company also showcased a prototype of a new model, the Sony Vision-SUV, on its product line.

Before showcasing the prototype of the new Vision-SUV, Yoshida said: "We were very excited after the vision-S was shown [last year], which prompted us to think further about how we can bring creativity and technology to another, to change the experience from one place to another. This is our new Vision-S SUV. Vision-S was developed on the basis of safety, adaptability and entertainment. Safety has always been our top priority when it comes to creating comfortable mobile experiences. That didn't change when this SUV was made. A total of 40 sensors are installed inside and outside the vehicle to monitor the safety situation.

"In terms of adaptability, we have connectivity that allows us to build a vehicle that is constantly evolving. It can also personalize the cabin for each user. With 5G technology, high-speed, high-capacity and low-latency connectivity can be achieved between in-vehicle systems and the cloud. VIsion-S also evolves mobility into an entertainment space. Yoshida said. VIsion-S also evolves mobility into an entertainment space that includes gaming experiences and audio. Through our exploration of VIsion-S, and through the partners who support this effort, we learn more about mobility. ”
