Recently, we learned from relevant channels that Hengchi 5 has officially rolled off the production line at Evergrande Automobile's Tianjin plant. Combined with the previous application chart of Hengchi 5 obtained on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The new car is positioned as a pure electric A-class SUV, which will be adjusted compared to the previously released concept car, and its NEDC has a range of more than 700km.
In terms of appearance, Hengchi 5 adopts a closed front face design, with Y-shaped headlights on both sides, adding a lot of sportiness. The side of the body looks very simple, and the blackening of the opposing columns creates the effect of a suspended roof.
The rear of the car is also relatively simple, and its soft lines fuse the taillights together, plus the blackened taillights and through-type chrome trims, which enhance some of the layering.
In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4725/1925/1688mm, and a wheelbase of 2780mm. In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 150 kW.
