"Green ant new wine, red clay small stove." Late to the day want snow, can you drink a cup of nothing? "Since ancient times, countless literati and inkers have left poems related to wine. During the winter solstice, the Guangdong Provincial Museum launched the "Wine Song - Chinese Wine Culture Exhibition", which interprets Chinese wine culture from multiple angles such as etiquette, health care, customs, and export sales.
With "wine" as the core, the exhibition integrates natural objects with cultural relics in the collection, and exhibits a total of 254 pieces (sets) of natural specimens and bronzes, ceramics, calligraphy and paintings. The exhibition runs from 21 December 2021 to 10 April 2022.

"China's wine-making process has a long history, and its winemaking technology is unique. With the cultural exchanges of the Silk Road, the raw materials for winemaking in China have become increasingly abundant, and the koji-making technology has continued to progress and develop, and has gradually become a typical representative of the oriental brewing industry. Curator Ding Ning introduced that this exhibition museum for the first time exhibited bronze jue, squirrel grape pattern rhino horn cup, silver dragon pattern flower and bird character story diagram three dragon foot ice wine barrel, ivory carving wine chip, silver coat of arms left white Three Kingdoms Romance character story picture goblet cup, Qing Chen Yunlong night feast picture axis, tin carved flower small jug, wine making tools, wine cheng and other collections of cultural relics and natural specimens.

The exhibition is divided into four parts, the first and second parts are "Green Ant New Wine" and "Talking About Wine Mulberry", which cut from the perspective of natural science, cooperate with the collection of plant specimens and interactive installations to show the audience the raw materials of wine, the aroma of wine, the type of wine and the brewing technology; the third part, "Can Drink a Cup of Nothing", through bronze ceremonial vessels, ancient books and paintings, etc., leads the audience to review the interesting wine ceremony and wine customs of Qu Shui Liu to Tu Su Drinking; the fourth part, "Xia Ying into Yao Yao", selects traditional Chinese wine utensils with excellent morphology and style and export wine utensils. It shows the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures and the inheritance of ingenuity carried in various wine utensils.

Fragrant type, fragrant type, sauce flavor type, phoenix flavor type, sesame flavor type... The 12 aromas of baijiu, through an interactive installation, allow the audience to sniff its differences in the experience. The "not on top" gameplay has attracted many viewers to try.
"From the perspective of the integration of modern science and technology, nature and history and culture, and the display method of combining exquisite cultural relics and interesting experiences, the exhibition hopes to lead the audience to explore the origin and inheritance of wine, and taste the elegance and worldliness of wine." Ding Ning said.
