Zhao Xizhong, also known as Yani, a native of Xiazhai Village, Dizhai Township, Chang'an County, Shaanxi Province, was admitted to the Provincial No. 1 Middle School when he was a teenager, and during his school years, he took to the streets with his classmates many times to oppose foreign aggression and spread new culture and new ideas, for which he was tracked down and suppressed by reactionary military and police. After graduating from middle school, he joined the National Revolutionary Army as a soldier, and then was sent by his cousin Wei Xigubao to the fourth phase of the Huangpu Military Academy in Guangdong.
After graduating from the Whampoa Military Academy, he was assigned to the Quartermaster Department of the General Headquarters of the Northern Expeditionary Army as a probationary officer, and in January 1927, he was transferred to the Wuhan Peasant Movement Training Institute in Hubei Province, where he served as the leader of the second district team. In May of the same year, he joined the Communist Party of China. In June, he was transferred back to Shaanxi and went to the Zhen Shoushan Department of the Shaanxi Army in Lintong County, where he served as the leader of the student team of the teaching battalion. The ministry has a secret military branch of the CCP, and Zhao Xizhong is one of the main members, engaged in underground military movement work. He was transferred to the Lantian West District Committee of Shaanxi Province, and later transferred to the Chang'an County Committee of the Communist Youth League; he actively responded to the instructions of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee to lead the teaching group in the Linyou Uprising.
Subsequently, he was arrested and imprisoned, and then fled back home, and because of the capital of graduating from the Whampoa Military Academy, he went to yanghucheng to serve as a machine gun company commander in the 1st Garrison Brigade of Yang Hucheng Department. In July 1935, the First Garrison Brigade was ordered to march to the Yangyang area of Shaanxi To attack the Red 25th Army, and when the troops entered Yuanjiagou and the battle began, Zhao Xizhong ordered his soldiers to first kill Ju Yingcai, the commander of the first company who was usually reactionary in thought, and then turned the muzzle of the gun to fight back, led the machine gun company to carry more than 30 rifles, and held an uprising in front of the battle, causing the first police brigade to suffer from the enemy on its back and the whole army was destroyed - Zhao Xizhong returned to the Red Army and was appointed as a military instructor of the Red 25th Army Teaching Team.
In 1936, after Zhao Xizhong arrived in northern Shaanxi with the army, he served as the military chief instructor of the Military and Political Cadre School of Wayao Fort, and soon after, he was appointed as a military instructor of the Infantry Study School of the Red Army University, and was promoted to the chief military instructor.
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Zhao Xizhong was transferred to the work of the New Fourth Army In Southern Anhui Province, serving as the training director and deputy commander of the Teaching Corps, and the chief of staff of the First Column when the New Fourth Army moved north.
After the "Anhui Southern Incident". Zhao Xizhong was captured by the 108th Division of the Nationalist Army during the breakthrough with his troops, and the Nationalist army discovered that he was an important cadre of the New Fourth Army, and in addition to sending an urgent telegram to the Military Committee of the National Government in Chongqing to report his merits, he also sent heavy troops to escort him to the Shangguan Yunxiang Headquarters. Zhao thought that he had no future, that is, he rebelled against the Ccp and provided a large number of information on the number of the New Fourth Army in southern Anhui, weapons and equipment, military operations, and the names, ages, academic qualifications, and characteristics of many leaders of the New Fourth Army.
Therefore, Zhao Xizhong was given preferential treatment and became a guest in the Third Theater of Operations, "escorting" him by car to the Qifengyan Prison in Shangrao Concentration Camp in Jiangxi. Then write an automatic declaration of secession from the CCP. The statement said that "deep remorse and remorse, now completely enlightened", "formally withdraw from the party, cut off all relations with the party, in the future determined to believe in the Three People's Principles, willing to work hard under the leadership of the Chinese Kuomintang and the president, to resist the construction of the country, vows to die unswervingly." To this end, he was appointed military instructor for a lieutenant colonel in the concentration camp, mainly engaged in the reformation of captured prisoners. Soon, the Japanese army attacked the Zhejiang-Gansu line, forced Torao, and moved his troops to northern Fujian, on the way, Zhao Xizhong took the opportunity of the other political and military instructors of the instructor group to sleep, and secretly opened the back door of the camp to escape.

After the end of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Zhao Xizhong returned to his hometown in Xiazhai Village, Dizhai Township, Chang'an County, and was again targeted by the agents of the Central Command, believing that he was a communist "bandit" and planning to arrest him.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Northwest United Front Work Department sent him to the Northwest People's Congress to study, assigned to the Lanzhou Branch of the Northwest Xinhua Company as a secretary and deputy general manager, just as he was doing his best for the cause of the party and the people with the residual heat of his later years, during the Cultural Revolution, he refused to frame revolutionary comrades, went to prison, was seriously insulted and tortured in personality and flesh, and died on July 17, 1968, with injustice thrown into the Yellow River. Until 1979, after his death, the organization rehabilitated Zhao Xizhong, affirming his early contributions to the revolution.
