From 8:00 to 14:00 on December 16, 3 new locally confirmed cases (2 in Xi'an and 1 in Yan'an) and 1 asymptomatic infected person (Xi'an) were newly reported.

Home-grown confirmed case 1:

Zhang Moumou, male, 52 years old, currently residing in Xinzhou Garden Community, Baota District, Yan'an City, is a close contact of the local confirmed case 2 released on December 15. As a close contact, Mr. Zhang was isolated for medical observation, during which he tested positive for nucleic acid, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new crown pneumonia (ordinary type) by the expert group at 10:30 on December 16.

Locally confirmed case 2:

Mr. Shui, male, 62 years old, currently lives in the Family Hospital of Chang'an University Headquarters, No. 33 Chang'an Middle Road, Yanta District, Xi'an City, and is a close contact of confirmed case 2 released on December 15, and the two are colleagues. As a close contact, Mr. Hua was isolated for medical observation, during which he tested positive for nucleic acid, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new crown pneumonia (ordinary type) by the expert group at 10:30 on December 16.

Locally confirmed case 3:

Mu Moumou, male, 28 years old, currently lives in Hanguang Lane, Daxue East Road, Beilin District, Xi'an City, and is a close contact of the local confirmed case 1 released on December 15. Mu Moumou was isolated for medical observation as a close contact, during which he tested positive for nucleic acid, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new crown pneumonia (mild) by the expert group at 10:30 on December 16.

Indigenous asymptomatic infected:

Gao X, male, 10 years old, currently lives in the north district of Chang'an Community, Zi County, in the southern section of Suzaku Avenue, Xi'an City. On December 15, during the screening and nucleic acid testing of key personnel, it was found that Gao Jin's mixed test results were abnormal, and then he was transferred and isolated, and the review result of The Xi'an Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention was positive. At 10:30 on December 16, after consultation with the expert group, he was diagnosed as an asymptomatic infected person with new crown pneumonia.

The above confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected people have been transferred to designated medical institutions for isolation treatment and medical observation, and the specific activity trajectory has been released by Xi'an City and Yan'an City.
