A few days ago, Skoda released a new trailer for the upcoming Enyaq Coupe iV, showing its aerodynamic profile and confirming that it will debut on January 31.
The Škoda Enyaq iV coupe version is based on an electric vehicle-specific MEB platform, like the Volkswagen ID.5 and Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback. The sloping roof line brings the drag coefficient to 0.234cd, a significant improvement over the 0.27cd of the regular Enyaq iV.
The Enyaq Coupe iV will share body panels with the Enyaq iV up to the B-pillar, including an optional crystal face illuminated grille. It will be 4653 mm in length and will be 4 mm shorter than its siblings. Despite the coupe-style roof lines, the 570-litre has only slightly less space than The Enyaq's 585-litre.
Initially, the Enyaq Coupe iV will be available in two battery sizes (62 kWh or 82 kWh) and three power outputs ranging from 177 to 261 hp (132-195 kW/179-265 hp). Due to its sleek shape, the long-haul version is capable of traveling more than 534 km (332 miles) on two charges.
While we already know most of the specs, the first release of the Škoda Enyaq Coupe iV is scheduled for January 31, 2022.
