As a mid-term redesign, the new Odyssey adopts the same design as the Japanese version of the new Odyssey, and is upgraded and optimized for configuration, appearance/interior details, etc., and is equipped with a 2.0L oil-electric hybrid system, and will also launch a welfare car version at the same time.

In terms of appearance, the new Odyssey has a relatively large change compared to the old model, its grille size is larger, and the interior is embellished with horizontal chrome trim strips, adding a sense of refinement. And the grille and the two side headlights are connected to widen the visual width of the front of the car. A through-the-line chrome trim is also added underneath the front enclosure to further enhance the sense of luxury. It is reported that the new car also provides a honeycomb style of the middle net to meet the aesthetic needs of young sports users.
On the side of the body, the new Odyssey has not been much adjusted, maintaining the design style of the current model, and the electric sliding doors on both sides are a must; providing a new style of wheel hubs, more sporty. Compared with the Korean and American MPV, the Japanese MPV is still unique and more pragmatic.
In the rear part of the car, the new Odyssey adopts a larger size tail light group, and the internal light source is also upgraded to an LED light source, and the width light is a fiber-optic LED strip, which is more recognizable after lighting. The two sets of taillights are connected by chrome strips, dividing the rear layering and three-dimensionality. The tail logo "e:HEV" is hung in the lower right corner of the tailgate, indicating that the model is equipped with a hybrid system.
Entering the car, the new Odyssey has been comprehensively upgraded compared to the old model; the left side is equipped with a new three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, the central control screen adopts a suspension design, and is equipped with Honda CONNECT 3.0 car machine system; with the button-type electronic barrier, it effectively enhances the sense of science and technology. At the same time, the new Odyssey is equipped with double-sided electric sliding doors, a second row of aviation seats, ultra-low platform design, a third row of magic seats, etc., which add a lot of color to the comfort of the new car. In terms of seats, the new Odyssey still adopts a 2+2+3 7-seat layout, with the second row of seats in the high-end model providing heating, leg rests and electric adjustment.
In terms of power, the new Odyssey will only launch a hybrid version, which will be equipped with Honda's third-generation i-MMD dual-motor hybrid system, of which the maximum power of the 2.0L engine is 146 horsepower; with the assistance of dual electric motors, the comprehensive maximum power of this i-MMD hybrid system is 215 horsepower, and the transmission matches the E-CVT stepless transmission.
