Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China, was also the inventor of the title "Emperor". Painstakingly building an unprecedented great empire, originally planned to pass this empire to the world, but only fourteen years later, the Qin Dynasty was finished, the real long march only took the first step, and then there was no follow-up.
Many people in later generations believed that if it were not for Zhao Gao and Li Si colluding to let Hu Hai succeed to the throne, but in accordance with Qin Shi Huang's original will and testament, he would have established Su su as emperor, and perhaps the history of the Qin Dynasty and even the whole of China might have been rewritten.

Unfortunately, Zhao Gao used a false holy will to force Fu Su to commit suicide, and Fu Su really committed suicide. Meng Tian also advised him not to commit suicide immediately, and wrote to confirm it. But Fu Su did not listen, and directly wiped his neck, leaving this regret for eternity.
The "Chronicle of History" says: "Fu Su is a human being", "resolute and courageous, believing in people and fighting". That's a high rating. Fu Su once advised Qin Shi Huang not to burn books and pit Confucianism, believing that qin law was too strict and too heavy, indicating that he should be a good monarch who had both benevolence and courage. If he could succeed to the emperor's throne, it was really possible to change the fate of the Qin state.
Then, why did Fu Su not doubt the authenticity of the Holy Will at all, and rashly made the decision to commit suicide? Let's speculate that there are three reasons:
lineage
Fu Su was naturally the son of Qin Shi Huang, and how the bloodline could be a problem. Fu Su's father is unmistakable, but what about his mother? The history books do not record who his mother is, and even the empress of Qin Shi Huang is blank.
According to the name Fusu, some people speculate that his mother is Zheng Guoren, but the credibility is not high. Some Chinese and foreign scholars believe that Fu Su's mother may be from the Chu state and the daughter of the King of Chu. Because the marriage history between the Qin state and the Chu state lasted for more than 400 years, almost every generation, the possibility of the daughter of the king of Chu marrying the king of Qin was extremely high.
The blood of the Chu state brought Fu Su the doubts of Qin Shi Huang. In the process of destroying Chu, Chang Pingjun, the chancellor of the State of Qin, who also had chu ancestry, defected to the state of Chu, proclaimed himself the King of Chu, and finally committed suicide in defeat. And this Changping Jun is likely to be Fu Su's uncle.
After the rebellion of Changping Jun, the Chu forces in the Qin court were purged, and although Fu Su was not involved, he was sent to the north, which was itself an exile. Who is the future heir of the empire far away from the court? Therefore, Fu Su deeply felt his father's distrust of him. So he had no doubt about the truth or falsity of the Holy Will, which he thought was perfectly normal.
Later, when Chen Sheng and Wu Guang revolted, the banner they raised was to avenge Fu Su, and if Fu Su was really a descendant of the King of Chu, this could be explained, and Chen Sheng's national name was also Chu.
As for The identity of Fu Su's eldest son, everyone thinks that it is reasonable for the eldest son to be the prince, but in fact, the Succession of the King of Qin does not pay much attention to the eldest son, which can be seen from the genealogy of the previous Qin kings.
Military power
Fu Su and Meng Tian had an army of 300,000 under their command, and if they did not want to commit suicide, they could at least raise an army to protect themselves. In fact, even Meng Tian did not have the idea of starting an army. What he said to Fu Su was: "Please repeat the request, repeat the request and then die, and he wants to confirm it with the First Emperor, rather than supporting the army and standing on his own.
Don't look at the large number of people under them, but Zhao Gao and Li Si have been slaughtering for a long time, and they have long been guarded against this. At the same time as the edict of death, he also appointed "Li Sisheren" to replace Fu Su as the overseer, and without the approval of the new supervision army, Meng Tian could not mobilize the troops at all.
Father Wei
When Fu Su received the edict, Qin Shi Huang was already dead, but Fu Su didn't know it! With such a great father, the son can only look up to the mountain, and his heart is full of reverence. Even if you are exiled and not trusted, you do not dare to have the slightest anger and resentment.
Meng Tian asked him to reply, mostly because he thought that the emperor might be impulsive or that someone in the court was rumored. If you can delay the time for a while, and then think of a way, maybe you can get Qin Shi Huang to take back his life. Both of them probably didn't even think that the Holy Will might be false. Fu Su was born with benevolence, and since his father had given his will, there was nothing to say, die. "The Father gave the Son death, and Shang An asked for it!"
The good performance of Zhao Gao and Li Si is also an important reason. As soon as they passed on the holy decree, they announced that Qin Shi Huang would go north to inspect the northern defenses. The sand dunes where Qin Shi Huang died of illness were not very far from the Great Wall defense line, and it would not take many days to reach them.
In front of the First Emperor who destroyed the Six Kingdoms, Fu Su and Meng Tian would not even have the thought of rebelling. Meng Tian refused to commit suicide, and could only be captured with his hands tied, and Hu Hai said that the empress dowager still did not escape death.
Zhao Gao and Li Si, one in charge of Yuxi, the other is a chancellor, they joined forces to forge, Fu Su will not have a chance to survive. Unfortunately, Li Si, the rice barn mouse, did not make the right choice at a critical moment, and finally was beheaded in the city, and the three tribes were exterminated. He paid a terrible price for his actions.
