Previously, Tesla has cited a number of specific use scenarios of the radar sensor, in which, when the vehicle is stationary, the radar sensor can perform child detection, cabin intrusion detection and external detection; and when the vehicle is stationary or moving, it can detect and classify the passengers in the car; when the vehicle is moving, it can detect the driver's vital signs.
It is understood that the radar in the car will work in tandem with the camera inside the vehicle to monitor the driver's facial changes and vital signs in real time to ensure that the driver's eyes and attention are focused on the road and driving when the assisted driving is turned on.
Tesla said the radar, which consists of 4 transmitters and 3 receiving antennas, will have the ability to provide depth perception, can penetrate softer materials such as blankets, and can distinguish between children and objects, reducing the possibility of false alarms.

According to Tesla's official description, the super horn is to combine the vehicle's horn, alarm device and speaker, so that not only can the number of vehicle parts be reduced, but also the vehicle's horn, AVAS sound (electric vehicle low-speed sound) and sentinel mode alarm sound will not be lost.

This three-in-one configuration can also be seen as Tesla's countermeasure to prevent car owners from turning off the AVAS warning sound on their own. Previously, some Tesla owners wanted to turn off the vehicle's AVAS warning sound, they would disconnect the connection of the AVAS warning sound speaker without authorization, and the vehicle's horn and alarm device could be used normally.
When the vehicle uses such a three-in-one super horn, the AVAS warning sound is integrated with the vehicle horn and the sentinel mode alarm sound, and if the owner disconnects itself, then these sounds will not be available.
In addition, the form also states that the low-voltage batteries of the 2022 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y models will also change from "ancient" 12V lead-acid batteries to 15.5V lithium batteries, on par with Tesla's Model S and Model X models.
Previously, foreign media had disassembled the low-voltage lithium battery on Tesla Model S and Model X, which weighed only about 1.8KG, which was more than one circle smaller than the traditional 12V lead-acid battery, and the battery used inside was a battery management system from the Ningde era and an NMC lithium-ion battery.
Compared with the traditional 12V lead-acid battery, the low-voltage lithium-ion battery is smaller, the life is longer, and no regular maintenance is required in the later stage, and the cost of the car in the later stage will be reduced.
