As we all know, British Triumph and India Bajaj have a close cooperation, and recently the renderings of Triumph's new small displacement model were exposed, which is a small row motorcycle similar to the Trident 660. Because there have been rumors that Bajaj and Triumph are currently developing a series of mid-displacement motorcycles, this model is likely to be one of them.
It is said that this small displacement model has a displacement of about 250cc, adopts a design style similar to Trident, is designed and developed by Triumph, and produced by Bajaj of India, in order to reduce costs and then provide it to the global market. The heads of Bajaj and Triumph have publicly revealed that the first product they worked on will be released in 2022.
The 250-class displacement motorcycle, which blends some of the Design Elements of the Street Triple with Trident's design style, is likely a single-cylinder engine supplied by Bajaj in terms of power. Bajaj's Pulsar brand recently launched a new 250cc motorcycle in India. The 250cc segment in India also has many competitors such as the Dominar 250, KTM 250 and Husqvarna 250. It's clear that Bajaj is very bullish on the 250cc motorcycle segment, and this model may be quietly underway.
