MSI recently released a new gaming desktop, the MAG Trident S 5M, a console built specifically for cloud and mobile gaming. The console does not have a unique display, and players need to activate the Android System Simulator (MSI APP Player) and the 30-day free XBOX GAME PASS ULTIMATE through MSI's exclusive Game Stadium software, allowing players to control mobile games and other entertainment software on the sofa with a joystick.
The console is equipped with a unique MSI APP player that allows players to emulate Android on Windows. Gamers can experience mobile games with better performance on larger screens.
The MAG Trident S 5M features minimalist design elements and a 2.6-liter body with an 8-core/16-thread AMD Ryzen 5700G processor that supports FidelityFX super-resolution technology. The motherboard also comes with 2 sets of SSD PCIe Gen 3 slots and a 2.5-inch hard drive slot for expansion.
The web experience is critical to the product positioning of the MAG Trident S 5M. To optimize the network experience, MSI has launched LAN Manager software to improve the network performance of mobile games, cloud games and PC games, so that they can all run smoothly. The console also offers 3 video outputs (HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4, VGA output) to help gamers enjoy different entertainment content at the same time. There is a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C on the front that provides 15 W fast charging capability. On the side of the MAG Trident S 5M is the physical shortcut G Key, which can be used to set shortcuts for commonly used software.
