Beijing News Express According to the official website of the Ministry of Education, recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued a notice to put forward clear requirements for strengthening the management of education APP to promote the convergence with the "double reduction" policy. The notice pointed out that before the local education administrative departments complete the approval of online discipline training institutions for primary and secondary schools, the filing of online discipline training apps for primary and secondary schools will be suspended; the relevant education apps that have been filed will temporarily go offline from the platform. After the relevant education App providers offline obtain the online discipline training license for primary and secondary schools, they supplement the license information on the platform, submit an application for resumption of filing, and resume going online after being reviewed and approved by the provincial education administrative department where they are located; if they have not obtained the online discipline training license for primary and secondary schools, the filing is revoked.

The notice proposes that homework apps that provide and disseminate "photo search" and other bad learning methods that inert students' thinking ability, affect students' independent thinking, and violate the laws of education and teaching will be temporarily offline. After rectification and reform are in place and reviewed by the provincial-level education administrative department, the filing can be resumed; if it fails to pass the review, the filing shall be revoked.

The notice makes it clear that the application for the filing of preschool online training apps will no longer be accepted, and the relevant apps that have been filed will be revoked. The education APP platform no longer carries out the "double reduction" related complaint acceptance work. The relevant policies on off-campus training are mainly interpreted by the off-campus training regulatory authorities.
