Successfully financing again, WM Motors 2021 accelerated
Earlier this month, WM Motor announced that it had received US$152 million in the company's D2 round of financing, which was led by Agile Group, a well-known high-end real estate company in China, with Jinhu Shanghui and others participating in this round of financing as financial advisers.
According to relevant information, as of now, WM Motors has completed 11 rounds of financing and reached strategic cooperation agreements of 11.5 billion yuan with a number of banks, with a total financing amount of more than 35 billion yuan, so that its total financing has also set a record for new forces.
While being recognized by the capital market, the delivery volume of WM Motors has also ushered in significant growth. According to the latest delivery data released by the official, in November this year, WM Motor delivered a total of 5,027 new cars, an increase of 66.6% year-on-year, a new monthly sales record; from January to November, the cumulative delivery of new cars was 39,095, up 96.4% year-on-year, and the delivery volume is expected to exceed 40,000 units during the year.
But at the same time, there are also different voices that say that although the current WM is mainly composed of EX5, EX6 and W6 models, only one EX5 can be played, which also makes it firmly limited to the 150,000 level. Toyota recalled more than 900,000 vehicles in China due to safety hazards in EGR valves
Recently, according to the website of the State Administration of Market Regulation, due to the internal components of the vehicle engine exhaust gas recirculation valve (EGR valve) may be corroded by the higher concentration of chlorine in the fuel, resulting in safety hazards, GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. Changchun Fengyue Company decided to take recall measures to eliminate safety hazards.
It is understood that Toyota will recall nearly 900,000 vehicles in China, including Toyota brand and Lexus brand, involving Veranda, C-HR, Camry, Yize, Asia Dragon, RAV4 Rongfang, Lexus ES200, Lexus ES260 and other domestic and imported models.
At the same time, the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation also announced emergency measures - before the recall and maintenance, if the engine failure light is lit and the engine is abnormally shaken, the user should immediately contact the dealership and go to the store to check the repair.
Notably, this is Toyota's third large-scale recall this year. In June and July this year, Toyota Motor launched two recalls, with a total recall of more than 200,000 vehicles, also involving a number of popular models.
