Through Audi FAW New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., Audi will continue to expand its lineup of locally electrified models and will build a new production base for Audi pure electric models based on the PPE platform. Over the past few months, Audi FAW New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. has achieved another important milestone: the construction of a new plant in Changchun is poised to begin based on intensive preparations and approvals from relevant authorities. The plant plans to have an annual production capacity of 150,000 units. It is worth mentioning that factory production will achieve CO2 neutralization and full interconnection.

The new plant in Changchun will be Audi's first production site in China dedicated to the production of all-electric models.
