On the afternoon of October 10th, the launching ceremony of the activity of "The Legend of Xu Shen", which was sponsored by the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and undertaken by the Municipal Cultural Center (Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center), was held in the Yellow River Square. At the launching ceremony, there were not only piano book performances, but also programs such as Henan Pendant, Yue Tune, Yu Opera and Solo Performance of Characteristic Instruments that the masses liked. The performance kicked off with the instrumental ensemble "Hundred Birds and Phoenix", followed by the piano book "The Story of Xu Shen's Explanation of Words", "The Legend of the Red Boat Spirit from Generation to Generation", "Wen Deyu Worship Xu Shen of Yu county, Chencheng Zhixian County" and other wonderful programs were staged one after another, and the climax of the scene was repeated and the applause was continuous. The whole show was exciting and exciting.
Xu Shen is a luohe zhaoling people, he spent his life compiling the first dictionary in China and even the world, "Explanation of Words and Characters", which played an irreplaceable and important role in the inheritance of Chinese culture and the Chinese nation. His story has been passed down through the ages, and his spirit will shine forever. In order to vigorously carry forward the spirit of Xu Shen, inherit Xu Shen culture, protect intangible cultural heritage, help the construction of a famous Chinese character cultural city, and make intangible cultural heritage better serve our lives, the Municipal Cultural Center has set up a creative team to create a series of Xu Shen story singing segments according to Xu Shen's life deeds, using the form of piano book performances, using intangible cultural heritage to make intangible cultural heritage come alive.
The activity is planned to be carried out in 30 squares, communities, schools, institutions and villages in the city, and it is expected that 30,000 people will be educated, which will effectively promote the protection of intangible cultural heritage in our city to a new level.
