After the defeat of Gongsun Zhan, Liu Bei also wandered to Yuan Shao, and Zhao Yun went to follow Liu Bei and began his legendary life.
In addition to Kaitian Yu and Zhao Yun, the most "special" person left was called Yan Gang, and it was also one that few people knew. Yan Gang was born in the bitter cold of the north, and from an early age, he was extremely strong and brave. He was hunted down and killed by the Qiang for beating the leader of the Qiang, so he went to Hebei to defect to Gongsun Zhan. Gongsun Zhan entrusted Yan Gang with the heavy responsibility of commanding an extremely brave and warlike cavalry under his command. According to the Book of the Later Han Dynasty, "Dozens of people who were good at shooting often rode on white horses, thinking that they were left and right wings, and called themselves 'white horses and righteous followers'. ”
White Horse Yicong
This unit was quite famous at that time, and Zhao Yun was also a member of the "White Horse Yicong" when he followed Gongsun Zhan. This is the reason why Yan Gangzhi is "special", he is not only unexpectedly used by Gongsun Zhan, but also commanded the most courageous and warlike unit under Gongsun Zhan. However, Yan Gang died in battle very early. In the Battle of Jieqiao between Yuan Shao and Gongsun Zhan, Yan Gang was beheaded by Yuan Shao's general Koji Yi.
