We read all the lead to present a different history.
As we all know, Yuan Shao was the largest prince in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, and famous warlords such as Lü Bu and Liu Biao were basically not Yuan Shao's opponents. However, it is interesting that Gongsun Zhan, who does not have a strong sense of existence in the interpretation, has been a major problem for Yuan Shao in history. Not only that, Gongsun Zhan also had three fierce generals under his command, all of whom had a good reputation in the future, two of whom were obtained by Cao Liu, and one of whom was even more difficult to meet with opponents.

The most powerful general under Gongsun Zhan's command was called Yan Gang, and although he was not very famous, he had a special force under him that made countless warlords jealous of him- "White Horse Yicong". According to the Book of the Later Han Dynasty, "Dozens of people who were good at shooting often rode on white horses, thinking that they were left and right wings, and called themselves 'white horses and righteous followers'. This light cavalry unit was the ace division in Gongsun Zhan's hands, and it was also his killer weapon that had threatened northern Xinjiang for many years.

Gongsun Zhan joined the army in Youzhou in his early years, and in order to effectively restrain the Hu troops, he spent countless painstaking efforts to cultivate a group of soldiers who were good at shooting. Because of this, the "White Horse Yicong", which is highly mobile and highly lethal, has become the nemesis of the Hu people's troops. Gongsun Zhan was thus named "General of the White Horse", and the commander Yan Gang also made a meritorious career based on this. Unfortunately, Gongsun Zhan's later plan to march into Jizhou failed, and the famous "White Horse Yicong" was lost, and even the commander Yan Gang was captured by Yuan Shao's general Koji Yisheng, and his prestige was lost from then on.
The second general was named Tian Yu. Not long after Gongsun Zhan raised his army, Tian Yu took the initiative to come and defect. Although Tian Yu fought bravely and strategically, Gongsun Zhan was always reluctant to reuse him, "although He knew that Yu had the right to plot but could not do it." Because of this, Tian Yu finally chose to switch to Cao Cao's command. Not long after, Cao Cao, who knew people well, sent Tian Yu to take up the post of Taishou of Nanyang, which made the latter extremely moved.

As a military general, Tian Yu managed such a super county, not only did he not have the slightest difficulty, but he seemed to be at ease. During Tian Yu's tenure, the security of Nanyang County was greatly improved, and the economy became increasingly prosperous. Cao Cao saw that Tian Yu was not a small skill, so he ordered his town to guard the frontier. During the Shubian period, Tian Yu repeatedly defeated the Hu tribes such as Wuhuan and Xianbei, and "Waihu heard of its prestige and came to offer it." The state border is peaceful, and the people cherish it." With his outstanding merits, Tian Yu was regarded by many as the first person to guard the border in the Cao Wei regime.

The last general was even more famous, the famous Changshan Zhao Zilong. Interestingly, when Zhao Yun first surrendered to Gongsun Zhan, he was not reused by the latter, and was even ridiculed by the latter: "Hearing that everyone in Guizhou wishes yuan, how can Jun He return to his heart alone, and can he be confused and can do the opposite?" Coincidentally, at that time, Liu Bei was also attached to Gongsun Zhan's command, and when he saw that Zhao Yun was snubbed by Gongsun Zhan, he deliberately befriended him, and finally succeeded in gaining Zhao Yun's allegiance.
▲ Shu lord Liu Bei stills
There is no doubt that Zhao Yun is Liu Bei's absolute confidant. Many people think that Zhao Yun's position as the main horseman is only a bodyguard, which is obviously a one-sided view. Judging from the duties performed by Zhao Yun, he was more like the leader of Liu Bei's private army, helping the latter to manage and control this consort force. For example, during the "Battle of Guandu", Liu Bei was attached to Yuan Shao, and Zhao Yun secretly recruited troops in Yecheng, Runan, and other places. It is not difficult to find that although Zhao Yun's official position in the Shu state is not high, his status in the heart of the Shu lord Liu Bei is comparable to that of Guan Zhang and others.
