In 1951, in the Park Dafeng blockade battle, Chai Yunzhen's troops received the task of blocking the enemy troops going north, at that time, the US army was undoubtedly several grades higher than the volunteer army in terms of equipment and air superiority, and on the 6th day of the battle, several forward positions of our army were quickly occupied by the US army.

In that blockade battle, Chai Yunzhen's entire battalion was wiped out, but because of this heavy blow to the enemy, the brother troops found the opportunity to quickly charge and conquer the main peak.
