My French years
Released in 2004, My French Years is a historical film directed by Zhai Junjie and starring Zhong Qiu, Xia Yu, and Ge Cunzhuang. The film tells the story of a series of twists and turns that occurred during the work-study trip of the young Deng Xiaoping to France from 1920 to 1925.

Deng Xixian's earliest acquaintance with the revolutionary youth was Nie Rongzhen, then chen Yannian and Chen Qiaonian who opened a small bookstore in Paris, and then Zhao Shiyan and Wang Ruofei while working in a factory. Soon, Zhou Enlai, Zhao Shiyan, and others launched an organization against the Beiyang government's borrowing of foreign debt from the French government to fight a "money refusal struggle." In this struggle, Deng Xixian became acquainted with Zhou Enlai and others, and their appearance changed deng Xixian's life destiny. Since then, he has completed the stage of his life of studying and surviving, and began his life journey and spiritual journey of following the communist ideals to the death.

In August of the same year, the exhibition was jointly revised and supplemented by the Museum of the Chinese Revolution and the Hebei Provincial Museum, and remade, and after being examined and approved by the leaders of the Central Organization Department, the Central Propaganda Department, the CPC Party History Research Society, the State Administration of Cultural Relics, and some of the comrades who stayed in Pharaohs, when it was publicly exhibited in Beijing, it caused a sensation in Beijing, and the students and relevant leaders who studied in France and worked in Beijing all visited the exhibition and gave it a high evaluation. Since then, the exhibition has toured hunan, Sichuan, Guangdong and other provinces with the largest number of work-study in France for two years, and has been widely welcomed and praised by all walks of life.
