During the Fuxi Cultural Tourism Festival, the Xinle Municipal Civilization Office and the Municipal New Era Civilization Practice Center set up 8 volunteer service stations to organize more than 240 volunteers from municipal units, towns (streets), banks and enterprises to provide services for tourists. Before the festival, the Municipal Civilization Office conducted a centralized training for volunteers, including the introduction of Fuxi Cultural Tourism Festival, volunteer service content, volunteer service etiquette, etc.
The 8 volunteer service stations are located at the intersection of Xinyuan Expressway, the south parking lot of Wujiazhuang Village, the east entrance of Hezhong Street, the west entrance of Hejiazhuang Village, the south entrance and north entrance of Fuxi Town parking lot, the south entrance of the sacrificial square and the ticket office of Fuxitai. Volunteers wear red vests and provide free drinking water, road guidance, scenic spot introduction, environmental maintenance, emergency assistance and other services to tourists.
"A show host came to our site for help, and he needed to get to the show as soon as possible, but he was delayed by a traffic jam on the road. Our volunteers learned about this situation and took the initiative to ride him to the show, and finally delivered him smoothly, and the host expressed his gratitude to us." Volunteers from ICBC shared heartwarming stories around them.
"Not only do we provide free water, band-aids, etc., but our site also provides free food tasting, blood pressure measurement, eyebrow shaping, mobile phone cleaning, jewelry shaping, shoe shine and other services, which have been widely praised by tourists. This volunteer service activity is not only a beautiful scenery of the Fuxi Cultural Tourism Festival, but also a specific practice of deepening the theme activity of "Learning from Lei Feng, Civilized Practice, My Action and Contributing to a Civilized City", providing various convenient services for tourists and citizens, and at the same time, the volunteer spirit of "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress" will be passed on to more people.
