After getting to know her for a while, I found out that she still has a special affection for China, and is always full of curiosity and yearning for various Chinese elements. Taking advantage of this summer vacation, I decided to take Lala on a trip to China.
Beijing
For Lala, the first stop on her trip to China was Beijing. She has always been full of yearning for ancient Chinese culture, and wants to feel the style of a thousand-year-old emperor under the green glazed tiles of the Forbidden City.
So, on our first day in Beijing, we arrived at the majestic Palace Museum.
The splendid Forbidden City, the ancient palace walls, and the many treasures made Lala sigh, and she picked up the camera to take pictures of the intangible cultural heritage in her hands, while savoring the vicissitudes and heaviness of the Forbidden City. When looking at the panoramic view of the Forbidden City in Jingshan Park, Lala couldn't help but sigh that this was the China in her heart, ancient, mysterious, and with an indescribable majestic momentum.
In the evening, we came to Shiyu Village at the foot of the Great Wall, enjoying the unique night view of the Great Wall, and in the face of this picturesque beauty, Lala couldn't help but share her feelings with me: "Unlike the natural scenery of Sweden, the scenery of China is more unique, and each scenic spot carries a strong historical and cultural heritage. ”
Xi'an
After leaving a strong historical mark in Beijing, we came to Xi'an, a city known as the "ancient capital of China". Lala is most looking forward to the majestic appearance of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, she said, she had heard the story of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses when she was a child, and this time, she was finally able to witness it with her own eyes.
When she came to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Lala's eyes kept staring at the standing terracotta warriors and horses sculptures, she said that these terracotta warriors and horses seemed to tell ancient war stories, and every micro-expression had an indescribable sense of historical weight.
Lara was ecstatic to feel the long history of Chinese civilization on the spot, and she told me that this trip to China really gave her many unexpected surprises, full of stories of attractions, and distinctive Chinese culture, which made it difficult for her to let go.
Chengdu
Another trip is Chengdu, which has the reputation of "the land of abundance". Lala has always been curious about Chinese food, especially Sichuan cuisine, so this trip to Chengdu is naturally a food journey that can be said to go.
After tasting various Sichuan cuisine delicacies such as Malatang, hot pot, and Confucius Temple snack street, Lala was full of red light, gave a thumbs up and praised constantly, she said, the original Chinese cuisine is so rich and colorful, and each dish has a unique cooking technique and cultural connotation.
On the ancient street of Jinli in Chengdu, Lala also had an exchange and learning with the Sichuan opera face-changing artist, she wore a colorful mask and learned the skills of face-changing performance, the scene was very interesting, and it also had the unique charm of folk culture.
After running all the way, I found that Lala's perception of China is no longer limited to the keywords of "Made in China", "Great Wall" and "Panda", but has begun to feel and understand this ancient and magical oriental country from all aspects.
In the depths of Beijing's hutongs, Lala put on a Chinese-style cheongsam, walked leisurely in the old Beijing hutongs, saw the uncle and aunt on the roadside, she also sang Peking Opera with them, waved the plum blossom fan, showing her national charm.
In Xi'an's Muslim Street, I told her about the history and culture of Shaanxi, and she also learned to make dumplings and roll dough with a local Uyghur aunt.
In the wide and narrow alleys of Chengdu, she and I tasted tea idioms together, tasted traditional delicacies such as Sichuan's Baiqi Brain, Guangyuan sweet and sour short ribs, and Mianyang fried liver, and at the same time, she also learned the drawing of Sichuan Opera masks from local workshop masters.
Through her own experience and feelings, Lala has begun to like China from the bottom of her heart, and she feels that China is not only an ancient country with a long history, but also a country full of vitality and creativity, whether it is ancient cultural inheritance or modern scientific and technological innovation, China has endless charm and surprises.
In everyone's heart, there is a unique Chinese feeling, and this feeling often comes from an in-depth understanding and real feeling of China.
I also hope that in the near future, I will be able to take Lala together to set foot on the land of China again, to feel the rapid changes in China, to explore more Chinese stories, and to welcome more friends to start their own journey to China with us.
