On the morning of May 12, with the strong support of the Community Governance and Social Security Bureau of Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Longdengshan Community of Zhonghe Street, together with Yucheng Volunteer Service and Research Center of Chengdu High-tech Zone and the "Little Lantern" Children's Observation Group of Longdengshan Community, carried out the "Parent-Child Whispers in the Sand Table - Longdengshan Community Heartfelt Communication Theme Salon", aiming to experience the unique charm of non-verbal communication in sand table games through parent-child sand table psychological games, and build a communication bridge for parent-child families. Enhance the family's ability to support children's growth, further improve family care capabilities, meet children's growth needs, and promote child-friendly services.
Psychological sand table is a kind of psychological therapy tool based on the scene as the carrier, according to the current mood of the participants and the image in the brain by fiddling with various models, toys to form a spiritual courtyard, complete a sand table work, explore their own mental process, group psychological sand table can play its unique role in the improvement of interpersonal relationships. At the beginning of the activity, under the leadership of teacher Wang Wenwen, the sand table master, we learned about the basic elements and important rules of the group sand table. Immediately afterwards, Mr. Wang started the journey of sand table construction with the warm-up game "Cutting Potatoes" after understanding the traditional Chinese character "聽", guiding the parent-child families on the scene to understand the method of listening, and reaching a consensus on listening. During the activity, the participants completed a spiritual journey through sand tool selection, sand tool placement, story sharing, inter-group communication, and confidentiality oath.
This activity is an attempt by the Longdeng Mountain community to build a communication platform for parent-child families in the jurisdiction, and in the future, it will link schools and commercial enterprises in the jurisdiction to continue to serve and help children grow up and promote the construction of a child-friendly community.
