In order to effectively protect the people's food safety and eliminate potential food safety hazards, recently, the Chengguan Office of the Baishui County Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has comprehensively carried out a special inspection of the food safety of barbecue skewers.
In this inspection, the law enforcement officers focused on the beef and mutton, pork products, seasonings and other foods sold by the relevant business entities, and the barbecue business entities around the places with large personnel mobility and residential communities as the key inspection objects, and focused on the implementation of the environmental sanitation, bright certificate operation, and health management of employees of the business entities, and conducted a comprehensive inspection of the relevant business entities. The first is to focus on inspecting the meat quality and storage environment of barbecue skewer food raw materials, as well as the cleaning and disinfection of catering utensils and the use of disposable tableware. The second is to carefully check the implementation of the system of requesting certificates and tickets, purchasing inspection, etc., as well as whether the purchase and sales ledger has been established, whether there is a sale of meat products that have not been quarantined in accordance with the regulations or have failed to pass the quarantine, and whether there are violations of laws and regulations such as the use of barbecue food that does not meet the relevant requirements.
During the inspection, the law enforcement officers explained the relevant laws and regulations such as the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the Food Safety Operation Code for Catering Services to the business entities and consumers, as well as food safety knowledge, which further enhanced the food safety responsibility awareness of the business entities and the self-protection ability of consumers.
