After a while, I looked at Li Mei's sudden question and replied: I am a soldier, and it is the duty of a soldier to obey orders. A few months later, when I was transferred to the regiment, my old leader, Deputy Director Zhao Chuanhai, called me to his office and said, "Why don't you say anything about this...... and drank me up. A few days later, my old company commander, Zhang Qingtai, made a plate of peanuts and a bottle of Jinhui wine in his office, and in this way I left the 165th Regiment and returned to work at the division headquarters.
1. My lineup when I was promoting the Culture Division
In November 1973, I came to the Propaganda Section, and at this time there were 17 cadres in the whole section, namely: Section Chief Li Xitai, Deputy Section Chiefs Yin Changsheng and Mei Tianqin, Propaganda Officers Yang Shunquan, Zhai Shuyuan, Yu Zhiqing, Wang Baizhan, Zhang Yuanyu, News Officers Wang Wenqing, Dong Zhenguo, Guo Huailiang, Zhang Faquan, Cultural Officers Duan Wansheng and Sheng Xifu, Film Team Captains Zhou Zhixing and Wang Jiatian, but I am a newcomer and the first sports officer of the 55th Division.
At this time, in the propaganda section, because I joined the army early, I was old, I had participated in the Sino-Indian border self-defense counterattack, played basketball well, and I worked as an instructor in the company for another three years, and everyone respected me very much. In addition, during his tenure at the division headquarters in the 60s, he got acquainted with influential figures of the 55th Division, such as Song Nianqian, Ziping, Yao Deming, Tang Guojin, Liu Gentian, Zhang Weisong, Hou Jinbao, Sun Jiwu, Chen Zhongqin, Chen Zhongtuan, Sun Qiwen, Chen Wenyou, Li Jialong, Chai Rucheng, He Zhimin, Shen Jiyan, Wang Keen, Liu Xicheng, Zhu Tianming, Chen Yuandian, as well as Ma Zhilong, Wang Jianwen, and Liu Yuhai...... , the reunion of old friends, extra affectionate, there is no sense of unfamiliarity with life, and the feeling of being a newcomer.
2. Go all out to greet the Third All-Army Sports Games
During the period when the 55th Division was stationed in Qinghai, there were no other sports activities except for the basketball games held by the Lanzhou Military Region in 1964 and the basketball games organized by the division. After the troops moved to the Hexi Corridor, it coincided with the third all-army sports meeting, and all of a sudden, sports were like a military contest in 64 years, sweeping the whole army, and Guo Huailiang, the information officer, also went down to the seventh company of the 164 regiment to cover the development of mass sports activities, and his "Sports Flowers Bloom in the Barracks" was published on the second page of the Jiefangjun Daily.
In order to welcome the third all-army sports meeting, the 55th Division participated in various competitions organized by the 19th Army, and in April 1974, the division held basketball, volleyball, and table tennis games on the high platform. In May 1974, on the basis of the mass sports carried out by the regiments, the track and field and military sports games were held in Jiuquan, with an unprecedented number of athletes participating in the competition. In January 1975, under the leadership of Deputy Director Zhai Jifu, the athletes of the 55th Division won the first place in the total score of the first track and field competition of the 19th Army, of which 22 athletes represented the 19th Army to participate in the track and field competition organized by the Grand Military Region in Xianyang, Xi'an, and 3 also broke the pole vault record of the Grand Military Region.
In the spring of 1973, I led the divisional basketball team to represent the 19th Army in the basketball tournament held by the Grand Military Region in Lintong, Xi'an, as well as the Fourth Gansu Provincial Games. At this time, the whole department is united, cooperates with each other, and the division of labor is not separated, which is really unity and tension, serious and lively. During the performance, Wang Baizhan sat in the department, handled the daily work in an orderly manner, and distributed the cultural and sports equipment of the cultural work station of the large military region to the division on my behalf, and distributed the cultural and sports equipment to each regiment in a timely manner, and its information still exists today.
In September 1974, Mei Tianqin, Duan Wansheng, Sheng Xifu, Dong Zhenguo, Zhou Zhixing, and Wang Jiatian were in charge of the secretary group of the conference, and I assisted Feng Xikang in charge of the general affairs group, which effectively ensured the smooth progress of the performance and the evaluation of excellent programs. When I led the basketball team to compete in Zhangye, Duan Wansheng, who was approachable and talented, often came to the team to tell stories, and his humorous voice and face were full of storytelling, telling "the master and the apprentice", "Mr. Tauville's head", "the story of the morgue", ...... , left a deep impression on the basketball team, and so far, he has also become a good friend of the basketball team.
During the three years I worked in the division's political department, I was the only one in the dormitory, and I had all kinds of stationery, and after dinner, my comrades-in-arms liked to come to my dormitory to sit and play, play chess, military chess, checkers, poker upgrades, drive donkeys, and lead pigs and sheep, especially Shen Binggang, Yu Zhiqing, Mei Tianqin, Yang Shunquan, Zhou Quanshan, etc., and I can proudly say that my dormitory is the most lively place in the organ compound. Every time I think about this, I feel a lot of emotion.
3. Calligraphers, writers, poets, immortals, and painters who have gone out from the Propaganda and Culture Division
When I was in Corey, my comrades-in-arms made achievements, and now they have all achieved success and become a man of the hour.
After I left the division's propaganda and culture section, Yu Zhiqing's old friend was promoted to deputy director of the division's political department, political commissar of the Shaanxi Provincial Military Region's cadre rest house, president and editor-in-chief of the "veteran magazine," and writer.
Guo Huailiang rose to the ranks, was promoted to the rank of colonel, and successively served as director of the Propaganda Division of the Political Department of the Lanzhou Military Region, director of the Lanzhou Reporter Station of the Central People's Radio, deputy editor-in-chief of the "People's Army Daily" and "Huashang Daily", and published the reportage "Ming Camel Chronicles", "News Collection", and "A Military Reporter's Northwest Military Brigade".
Zhai Shuyuan transferred to Wuwei and served as the editor-in-chief of Wuwei Daily, with extremely high attainments in poetry and writing, especially in the study of ancient poetry.
My old partner Duan Wansheng, in his long military career, has become a general step by step from a soldier, and has successively served as the Minister of Culture of the Lanzhou Military Region, the Director of the General Political Bureau of Culture, Film and Television, and the Deputy Dean of the School of Electronic Engineering of the General Staff. In his literary and artistic career, under the enlightenment of his grandmother and middle school teachers, he absorbed the nutrition of the treasure house of human culture, made innovations, and successively created 13 drama sketches, 10 opera stories, and 13 songs. He is the author of General Duan Wansheng's "Selected Literary and Artistic Works", and is known as a great literary and artistic creator and artistic performer in the military. Not only that, his oil paintings are often selected for the All-Army Art Exhibition, and he is a famous painter in the army.
After Sheng Xifu transferred to the Wanli Electromechanical Factory of the Ministry of Aerospace Industry in Lanzhou, he did not forget his old profession and has been active in mass literary and artistic activities, which is respectable and lovely.
After Wang Baizhan transferred to the Shaanxi Academy of Social Sciences, he successively served as the head of the Shaanxi reporter station and senior reporter of China Science Daily. He has published more than 3,000 pieces of news, essays, novels, reportage, calligraphy and painting in central and local media, and is a leading figure in the literary circle of the 55th Division. He is the author of "Wang Baizhan Paintings", "Hundred Battles Poems, Calligraphy and Paintings", "Paulownia Blossoms", "Yellow and Green", "Gaotang Bridge", "March of China's Anti-Japanese War", etc.
After Dong Zhenguo transferred to the provincial high-level people's court, he successively served as the president of the civil court, the first director of the executive bureau, and the chief justice.
After Zhou Zhixing arrived at the place, he took the screening as the basis, studied the seal script intensively, and the works were strange and upright, magnificent, breathtaking, and very successful.
I am not talented, pure hobby, to write and write to paint to nourish the heart and health of the sunset, specializing in landscape, in 2008 joined the provincial and municipal art associations, in 2011 successfully held a personal sketch creation exhibition, works have been selected for the country, the army, and the province and city held a large exhibition of calligraphy and painting, works and papers have also been published in the province, city and calligraphy and painting newspapers and periodicals, author of "Painting Strategy - Chinese Landscape Painting Theory and Techniques Secrets", "Chinese Landscape Painting Sketch Collection", "Gossip Collection", "Huang Changjun Calligraphy and Painting Cultivation Collection" He is regarded by his comrades-in-arms and peers as a late-bloomer, a prolific and powerful painter and a critic of calligraphy and painting who has both works and monographs.

Author Huang Changjun: Born in April 1942, Han nationality, a native of Xi'an City, a revolutionary disabled soldier, and a director-level. After graduating from Xi'an Geological School (now Chang'an University) in August 1961, he was conscripted into the army, participated in the Sino-Indian border self-defense counterattack in 1962, and joined the Communist Party of China in July 1964. In the army, he successively served as a soldier, squad leader, secretary of the management section of the division headquarters, deputy instructor of the fourth company of the 165th regiment, instructor of the communication company, and officer of the propaganda section and cultural section of the division's political department.
