Itinerary: Caleta Tortuga Negra on Rábida Island and Santa Cruz Island
Wake up naturally to the sounds of nature and head to La Vida Island, also known as the Red Island, whose color is the result of the oxidation of very ancient, iron- and magnesium-rich porous Galapagos basalt lava. The island is rich in landscapes, such as small volcanic craters, cliffs and crimson beaches, as well as marine life, hundreds of sea lions mingled with nesting pelicans in a habitat, and flamingos can be spotted in small saltwater lagoons not far away. Also known as Jervis Island in English, Lavida Island is one of the most volcanically active islands and is the center of the archipelago's volcanic origins. Climbing the island is possible for hiking, about 45 minutes; Or opt for tandem kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling on the yacht, and see fur seals, pelicans, blue-footed and NAZCA along the coastline.
After lunch, a special lecture on the Galapagos Islands will be held in the Panorama Lounge. Meanwhile, the yacht is heading north of Santa Cruz Island to Caleta Tortuga Negra, a mangrove estuary inhabited by sea turtles, with no landing site and the need to turn off its engines when approaching, and many Blacktip Reef Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, rays, green turtles, pelicans and others live in mangroves.
