BYD's new masterpiece - Hiace 07EV was officially released, leading the new trend of pure electric mid-size SUV with marine aesthetic design, aiming at the 200,000 yuan market. As the first model of BYD's new Hiace IP, the Hiace 07EV indicates that in the future, the Hiace will form a twin star strategy of SUV and sedan, bringing more innovation and surprises to the market.
The exterior design of the Hiace 07EV is inspired by the Ocean X concept car, further reinforcing the family-oriented style of the Ocean series models. The shape of the whole vehicle is fashionable and atmospheric, and the bold line cutting on the upper part of the front face X shape makes the front face more three-dimensional and vivid. The unique Haiyue double U floating headlight design, combined with the boomerang-shaped decoration, jointly creates the shape of the letter C, and the daytime running lights are lit up in turn, full of ceremony.

The tail shape is full, and the dynamic taillights run through the sea and sky, and the parametric distribution of point light sources is progressive, showing a strong sense of science and technology. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4830/1925/1620mm, the wheelbase reaches 2930mm, and it provides two wheel options: 19-inch double-fork shape and 20-inch blackened five-spoke wheels to meet the aesthetic needs of different consumers.
In terms of interior, the Hiace 07EV continues the fluidity of the exterior design, using a variety of materials to interpret marine elements, and the soft area accounts for more than 80% of the interior area of the vehicle, creating a comfortable and pleasant driving environment. The curve of the upper part of the instrument panel outlines the enveloping shape of "floating wings", creating a strong sense of enveloping. The flat-bottomed four-spoke sports steering wheel is complemented by a refined crystal gear lever to give it a strong mechanical feel. The four-week button integrates common functions such as start, emergency warning light, automatic parking, air conditioning, etc., and is convenient to operate. The retro triangular design of the front windows is complemented by corrugated quilting and double-stitching seat trim for a unique taste.
In terms of configuration, the Hiace 07EV is also not far behind. The ambient lighting is available in 128 colours, and the waterfall ambient lighting on the door panels and the floating light inside the glass panel of the dashboard can move with the rhythm of the music, creating an immersive driving experience. The 12-speaker Dynaudio audio, three-flavor fragrance system, 220V on-board power supply and other configurations allow drivers and passengers to enjoy comfort while also feeling the convenience and fun brought by technology. In addition, the panoramic sunroof, water spray wipers, NFC key, AR-HUD and other advanced equipment are readily available, making the Hiace 07EV stand out from the other models in its class.
In terms of safety performance, the Hiace 07EV also performs well. It adopts the CTB vehicle safety architecture, the front double wishbone and the rear five-link independent suspension design, which ensures the stability and handling of the vehicle. In terms of intelligent configuration, the Hiace 07EV is equipped with the high-end version of the intelligent cockpit DiLink 100 and the high-end intelligent driving assistance system of the Eye of the Gods - DiPilot 100. DiLink 100 brings multiple entry methods, ONE ID and AR HUD, full-scene intelligent voice with four-tone recognition, parallel windows and other functions, improving the intelligent experience of drivers and passengers. The DiPilot 100 has up to 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 millimeter-wave radars and 11 cameras, and has functions such as full-scene intelligent driving, seven intelligent reminder functions, lane keeping, and emergency braking, providing drivers and passengers with safer and intelligent driving assistance.
In terms of power, the Hiace 07EV is expected to be available in three power forms to meet the needs of different consumers. The two-wheel drive version will be equipped with a 230 kW and 170 kW electric motors, while the four-wheel drive version will have a maximum output of 160 kW and 230 kW for the front and rear motors, respectively. This power configuration not only ensures the strong power output of the vehicle, but also brings a more comfortable and stable driving experience to the driver and passengers.
