A few days ago, Zhidian Travel obtained a set of road test spy photos of Mercedes-Maybach's new GLS model, and the new car is currently being tested on overseas roads, and is scheduled to go on sale in mid-2025. At the same time, the new car is also expected to continue to be imported into the domestic market in the second half of next year, and the overall interior design will also usher in a comprehensive renovation, which is more luxurious than the current model on sale.

As can be seen from the released spy photos, the head of the new Mercedes-Maybach GLS model is expected to offer a new shape of the large metal grille, and the LED headlight clusters on both sides are also more narrow and elongated than the current model. At the rear, the double-sided single-exit exhaust layout is still used, and the upper metal trim connects the LED taillight clusters on both sides.

In terms of power, the new Mercedes-Maybach GLS model is expected to be equipped with a 4.0T V8 engine + 48-volt mild hybrid system, or a 4.0T V8 plug-in hybrid engine, of which the latter's power parameters will also be greatly improved compared with the current fuel version of the model, and the transmission system is matched with a 9-speed automatic manual transmission, and equipped with a 4MATIC four-wheel drive system. According to overseas media, the interior of the new car will also provide a new three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and be equipped with three large screens of LCD instrument + LCD central control + co-pilot display, which is consistent with the Maybach EQS SUV model.
