This old community, which was completed in 1959, was once left with garbage and overgrown weeds due to the demolition and reconstruction of Yannan 2nd Road. In the past, the public, residents and residents of the district, as well as the council and the property management committee, have repeatedly voiced their voices, hoping to change the appearance of the community as soon as possible.
Through the joint efforts of all parties, it has now become a 900-square-meter pavement hardening, bright street lights, greening transformation, blooming flowers, and a new love pavilion leisure and fitness square. It is also hoped that this event will be used as an opportunity to build the "Neighborhood Life Festival" into a festival for the residents of Dongyi, and continuously enrich the connotation and characteristics of good-neighborly culture in practice.
The event kicked off with the cheerful sound of gongs and drums, and the festive Yangge performances and colorful cultural performances made the scene hot, and the audience gathered, and various cultures active in the community pushed the atmosphere of the event to a climax. On the premise of convenience and public welfare, there are more than 10 booths on the spot, such as public welfare haircuts, public welfare free clinics, convenient services, free knife sharpening and scissors, legal consultation and mediation, pension certification, elderly subsidy review, and vegetable basket project into the community, which attracted the attention of residents. "The convenience service activities of the neighborhood festival have delivered the services to the doorstep of the people, especially the provision of free sharpening knives and scissors, although the service is small, it is convenient and warm." Aunt Zhang said.
