Hu Xinqiao's work "Folding Wings".

This engraving is very interesting, Brother Dog didn't see the title at all when he didn't see the title, he didn't see it as an angel with folded wings, but thought it was a woman trapped in the corridor of the cell, just trying to escape from the prison but suddenly found a female prisoner blocked by an iron bar in front of him. That narrow aisle was full of oppression, and it seemed that there was no hope or future in sight, and the pressure that enveloped the four fields. If you think about it, isn't that true of the path of life in many cases, especially for the general public. But if you resist the pressure and insist on moving forward, moving forward, and breaking the iron fence in front of you, it may not be sunny.

Changed to "Folding Wings", Brother Dog didn't see where the folding wings were, haha. Writing this, Brother Dog suddenly thought of a sentence, and he couldn't remember the specifics, to the effect that every child is an angel with folded wings. In fact, not only children, everyone should be angels with folded wings. Maybe we're not perfect, we always have one or another flaw, but we're all unique.

Brother Dog once wrote that today's children are not as happy as Brother Dog was when he was a child, mainly because his studies are too heavy. Elementary school students, let alone middle school students, often write their homework until midnight. High school students, in particular, have few weekends or holidays. For example, the best high school in the small county where Brother Dog is located has a holiday every two weeks, and a vacation is only half a day. As for what May 1st and 11th are often put on for two or three days, thank God. I arrived at school at 7 o'clock in the morning and finished school at 10 o'clock in the evening. Therefore, Brother Dog said that they did not have as much playtime as they did when they were young, and they quickly became learning machines.

Brother Dog had very little homework when he was a child, he got out of school early, and his parents were dual-income workers, and they basically managed sheep. So every time after school, I play around with my classmates. There is a lot of farmland near the coal mine, and most of it is bud rice. Brother Dog and his classmates were playing in the bud rice field, and the dense bud rice could not be seen if it was a little farther away. I can understand why the green gauze tent is a good helper for the anti-Japanese guerrillas, and it is indeed impossible to see it in ambush.

Once, it was supposed to be a Sunday, and at that time there were no two days off, just a single day off. Brother Dog ran out with his classmates to play and ran to the sweet potato field. Then on a whim, they were ready to roast sweet potatoes, so some people went to dig sweet potatoes, some people looked for firewood, some people dug pits, and then lit a fire in the pit and began to roast sweet potatoes. Then the old man who looked at the ground appeared and yelled at the dog. Then the dog brother ran away, running so fast, as if there was a dog chasing after him. After thinking it was safe, Brother Dog reacted that the old man must have noticed us, and he had to wait until the sweet potatoes were almost roasted before he made a move, obviously going down the mountain to pick peaches,!

These are what Brother Dog thought of when he saw the work below.

Xu Fen's work "When the Flowers Bloom".

Brother Dog doesn't know what you will think of after seeing this painting, anyway, Brother Dog didn't expect it to be a flower, but remembered the grape trellis of his grandmother's house when he was a child.

Grandma's grape shelf had a banana flavor in it, and the ripe grapes were still green. I don't know what the scientific name is, but we simply call it banana grape. It seems that the second uncle or the old uncle came from a friend to plant it in the yard, and it was a small one when it first lived, but it grew up quickly. Grandpa built a shelf for the grapes so that they could grow along the shelf. In the summer, the grapes grow lush and green, and the large leaves create shade for us. It is very pleasant to sit under the grape trellis and enjoy the shade, and you don't have to be afraid of mosquitoes in summer, because grandma will light a bunch of mugwort on the side, and the smoke will drive all the mosquitoes away, which is very good.

Children, always gluttonous, always anxious. When the grapes haven't grown yet, Brother Dog pulls the tip of the grapevine and eats it, which is a little astringent and a little sour, not to satisfy the appetite but to satisfy the psychological desire. When the grapes grow, Brother Dog and his cousin will pick a few and eat them immediately, but they are more astringent and sour than the tips of the vines, haha. When the grapes are ripe, the taste is really beautiful, and Brother Dog has never eaten similar grapes since he grew up, nor has he seen similar varieties, which is a pity.

Oh, and by the way, the Northeast doesn't seem to be very suitable for grapes. Before the winter came, Grandpa would coil up the vines to make them smaller, and then cover them with straw and the like. Only in this way can the banana grapes survive the winter and produce grapes in the summer.

I can't go back to that summer, sitting under the grape trellis in the night, watching my grandparents drinking tea and listening to my grandparents chatting, the mugwort on the side flickered and emitted smoke, a very good smell. Relaxed, comfortable, no pressure from school or work, only carefree childhood.
