In 1964, Xia Youliang just turned twelve years old, and the years when he entered Shangsi Middle School can be said to have influenced his life. Among them, two old teachers left a deep impression on him, "one was the art teacher Wang Zhizhi, who taught me to draw the illustrations of the 'Song of Ouyang Hai', told me about color, composition, and virtual reality, talked about the conventional techniques of dyeing, filling, painting, and hooking chinese painting, and at the same time told me the realm of 'Qi with meditation and undressing like a garment'."
