Yu Zhenlian was born in 1950 in Wendeng, Shandong. In his youth, he loved painting, and at the end of the 1970s, he inherited Mr. He Haixia, a famous artist of the Chang'an School, and became a disciple, Mr. He Haixia painted lotus inscriptions for Yu Zhenlian many times, and also wrote "Ailian Book House" for her studio. Yu Zhenlian was deeply taught by Mr. Yu Zhenlian, specializing in lady painting, landscape painting, and You Chang painting Lotus.
